FEROX DEFENDER's combat ability in Splinterlands

It is extremely rare for a monster to be able to provide shield bonuses as well as repair them. However, for the fire element, having this blacksmith monster provides a complete package in terms of protecting your tank monster.

In this post, I'll talk about FEROX DEFENDER, which specializes in shields. Protects, repairs, and even damages shields.

FEROX DEFENDER is a fire element card with a common rarity. However, because this card is still part of the Soulbound series, it is not currently available for purchase. With a total of 8 mana points, this card is appropriate for medium and large mana battles.

At level one, FEROX DEFENDER can grant a shield bonus to all monsters on your team. After leveling up this card, the second skill will grant you the REPAIR SHIELD ability, which will repair damage to your team's shields.

And if you level up again, you will gain the SHATTER ability, which damages the shields of monsters attacked by FEROX DEFENDER.

In this battle, FEROX DEFENDER plays an important role in protecting the tank monster. The opposing team appears to have a strong lineup of monsters, making it difficult to defeat. Now in a battle with a 47-point mana cap and no neutral monsters to use.

With the mana cap that is currently available, I can only sent 5 monsters. I used GRUM FLAMEBLADE with its thick shield, which can withstand enemy attacks, including magic attacks. The second position belongs to the CHIMNEY WALLSTOP gladiator monster. I positioned the FEROX DEFENDER in the center so that I could repair the shields at the front and back of the battle line.

The opposing monster's arrow and magic attacks were successful in destroying my team's monster shields. However, the improvements made by FEROX DEFENDER allow the fight to last longer. The shield can withstand large attacks. Even with the opponent's monster's opportunity skill, it was able to penetrate my combat team's back defense.

However, CHIMNEY WALLSTOP's bloodlust ability can be activated in the early rounds, allowing for a large attack on the opponent's monster. Bloodlust's abilities continue to improve as he can eliminate opponents. It's just that the threat of a devastating arrow attack is right in front of you. However, with the help of FEROX DEFENDER improvements, the opposing monsters can be defeated one at a time.

At the end of the round, every time the shield was damaged, FEROX DEFENDER repaired it and successfully blocked the opponent's attack on my shield monster.
