My Story Opening a Gladius Pack in Splinterlands

avatar

Hey there, Splinterlands Summoners!
How’s it going? Hope you’re all doing great and staying hyped for the battles ahead. Today, I wanna share my experience from this week’s Brawl and a bit of pack-opening luck that totally made my day.

So yeah, I joined the Brawl again this week. Honestly… the results weren’t that amazing. Out of 5 battles, I only managed to win 2. But hey, that’s just how it goes—sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Luckily, two guilds didn’t show up in our tier, so I still managed to contribute a total of 5 wins to my beloved guild, ClaNFT.

Even though the Brawl didn’t go as I’d hoped, I still earned a decent amount of Merits. I managed to collect 10,800 merits, which was just enough to grab 5 Gladius Packs.

Of course, I ripped them open right away. And man… they didn’t disappoint. You can check out what I got here:

From those packs, I pulled 25 new gladiator cards, and here’s the real kicker—I scored TWO legendary cards in one go!
🔥 GINI GUISI – Absolutely fierce design and perfect for an aggressive lineup.
🔥 VINA FOXOM – One of the cards I’ve been chasing for a while. She’s got some serious potential in certain rulesets.

With those two added, my legendary gladiator collection is almost complete. Just missing one now: the legendary Water card, Flagulon Reine. Fingers crossed I get it in my next opening!

Oh, and aside from the Brawl, I also climbed to Silver III in the ranked season. Not a massive haul, but I still got a few cards from the reward chests. Always fun cracking them open, right? You can check out those rewards too:

All in all, this week was a bit of a rollercoaster. Brawl didn’t go great, but those two legendary pulls totally lifted my mood. A good reminder for me that sometimes the best rewards don’t come from the best performances—but from staying consistent and grinding smart.

Hope my little story gives you some extra motivation on your own grind. Don’t give up, keep battling, and enjoy the journey. Wishing you all the luck with your own pack openings. See you in the next arena!
