Good day, Splinterlands fighters. Meet up again in this weekly challenge to talk about the Noxious Fumes Ruleset. I didn't have time to complete the challenge of discussing Melee Mayhem last week, but I will do so this week by presenting battles from the Silver League.

Discussing the rules of this battle is critical because understanding the rules allows us to devise a strategy. Even if you only use ordinary or common cards, the right strategy can lead to victory.

If you come across this logo in the Splinterlands card battle. Then all monsters will be poisoned, according to the rule.
So, here are the things you should be aware of:

  1. All monsters will be poisoned at the start of the battle. This poisoning is a disadvantage because it reduces health points by 2 damage points at the end of each round.
  2. The poisoning effect can be removed by giving a skill cleansed, resurrected, or rebirth.
  3. The poisoning effect will also affect the monster's enrage skill, which will increase its attack power and speed.
  4. Monsters with immunity will be immune to the effects of poisoning.

It is also necessary to be aware of any other rules that may apply during the fight. Try not to violate the Noxious Fumes' rules.


RULES AND TACTICS

The following is a fight using the Noxious Fumes ruleset.

There are monsters with a lot of mana to choose from, with a mana point limit of 47. Elements of death and water are permitted to be used. In addition to the Noxious Fumes rule, there is a close-range rule that allows archers to attack from the lead position.

Because the Noxious Fumes rule is a bet on health points that continue to drain, I chose to summon a summoner that reduces 1 health point for all opposing monsters.

I also sent a PELACOR DECEIVER with 10 health points to the front row. Then there's RIFTWING, who has scavenger abilities. And VENARI BONESMITH, who can poison and drain life. In the following line, I sent a monster with the immunity skill, HARKLAW. VENARI MARKSRAT, who is fighting alongside USUT.

PELACOR DECEIVER was attacked by DIEMONSHARK and the opponent's magic monsters in the first round. To counteract the effects of poison, RIVER NYMPH was dispatched with the ability to cleanse. But I anticipated this by attempting to be poisoned again via the VENARI BONESMITH attack.

In this first round, PELACOR DECEIVER had to be eliminated from the battlefield, but DIEMONSHARK was poisoned again by VENARI BONESMITH.

All monsters except HARKLAW take 2 points of damage at the start of round 2. Because RIVER NYMMPH has been destroyed, there is no longer any hope of opposing monsters being poisoned-free.

After doing their job to buy time, RIFTWING and VENARI BONEMSITH were eliminated. As a result, HARKLAW rose to front line and confronted DIEMONSHARK. However, HARKLAW's attack was unsuccessful. Fortunately, DIEMONSHARK was defeated by USUT's attack. As a result, USUT's bloodlust skill was activated immediately.

VENARI MARKSRAT was eliminated at the start of the third round due to poisoning. His martyr skill, of course, increases the attack and speed of the two remaining monsters. On the other hand, two Enemy monsters with Phase abilities and ANGELIC MANDARIN with triage abilities have been set to beat my monster.

Except for HARKLAW, all monsters take poison damage at the start of round 4. The attack of DJINN OSHANNUS, which is only 1 point of magic, does not deplete HARKLAW's health points. It has also failed to hit DJINN OSHANNUS with the help of USUT's magical attacks.

Even with his healing abilities in each round, ANGELIC MANDARIN was unable to keep up with the attacks from USUT and HARKLAW in the fifth round. As a result, victory is mine.

FINAL THOUGHTS

The rules of a battle in which all monsters are poisoned are defensive battles in which large health points are sent. Otherwise, health points will run out in every round. As a result, sending monsters with immunity abilities is the best way to overcome this. However, there aren't many monsters with immunity abilities.

In the preceding battle, I used a mix of monsters with scavenger and immunity abilities. Monsters with martyr abilities, on the other hand, are ideal for being placed in the center of the team. because it will increase your ability when knocked out due to poisoning.
The enemy relies on the cleansing ability to remove the poisoning effect from the monster in front. But I foresaw it by sending a monster that would poison it once more, VENARI BONESMITH. and it turns out that the plan worked.

Aside from that, the Bloodlust ability is very useful in this battle because, on average, health points will be low due to poisoning. So that a single magical attack will immediately activate the bloodlust effect.

In this fight, I was able to survive due to the presence of a monster with immunity abilities, which allowed me to buy time from the effects of poisoning at the start of the round. The poisoned opponent's monster will die if you survive long enough.

I stake approximately 10,000 SPS. It does not appear to be due to Stake SPS. The RP amount is usually increased at the end of the season. Perhaps this is what caused the reward points to reach 7k.

Mine is 1.6K and I get around 1600 or less RP per win, so it become tough to get enough chest daily. But, I think you are using level 2+ cards and that could be a genuine reason of additional points.
