This time, I want to share a bit about a card that I think is “quietly deadly,” but often underestimated because it looks pretty ordinary. Its name is Ferrous Brewer.

Brief Introduction: The Small Dwarf Who Doesn’t Show Off Much

The first time I saw Ferrous Brewer, honestly, I wasn’t very impressed. It’s a Neutral monster from the Dwarf bloodline, Epic rarity, and only costs 4 mana. Cheap, flexible—but it seems… just okay.

Its base stats aren’t exactly “wow” either:

• Low melee
• Slow speed
• Fairly standard armor and HP

But in Splinterlands, we all know one thing: what looks simple often hides surprises.

The first thing that made me pay attention was Charge.

With this ability, Ferrous Brewer can attack from any position. For players who love experimenting with formations, this is incredibly valuable. No need to worry about placing it in front or back—it still does its job.

Then, after leveling up a bit, it gains Relentless Strike. Now this is where things get interesting.

Its attacks become:

• Able to pierce Shield
• Able to bypass Void
• Even deal extra damage if the enemy relies on those defenses

What does that mean? Even thick tank monsters can still feel the pain.

And at higher levels, it gains:

• True Strike → never misses
• Immunity → resistant to debuffs

At this point, I started thinking:
“Why does this 4-mana card feel like a 6–7 mana unit?”

Reflection on the Conclave Arcana Set

Of course, this card isn’t without weaknesses. Its speed is low. And if it gets hit with heavy burst damage, it can still go down.

What surprised me the most is its mana efficiency. In Splinterlands, every slot matters. And Ferrous Brewer feels like it’s saying:

“I don’t need to be expensive—I just need to get the job done.”

In my opinion, the presence of cards like Ferrous Brewer from the Conclave Arcana set shows a new direction for the game.

Now it’s not just about big damage or expensive monsters.
It’s also about:

• efficiency
• flexibility
• smart ability combinations

This makes gameplay deeper. You can’t just pick expensive cards anymore—you really have to understand each unit’s role. And honestly, that’s what keeps me hooked.

Splinterlands isn’t about who has the most expensive cards, but who understands how to maximize what they have.
