Hello, Splinterlands summoners. Meet again in the Splinterlands Battle Mage Challenge. Of course, in this new battle mode, glint is the target. So, we're excited to see how glint will be obtained from this season's battles.

In this post, I'll discuss a battle involving the regret and fire ruleset. A rule that penalizes archer monsters. How could that be? This article provides an explanation as well as strategies for dealing with the situation.

Fire and Regret is a battle that you must be cautious of. Especially those who like archer monsters. because this ability causes a counterattack when you release an arrow attack. Your attack will result in a half-return. However, if your monster has a Reflection shield, the counterattack will be ineffective.
In this battle, players will not be using archer monsters. Beware of melee and magical monsters.
Another factor influencing it is the ability to amplify, which increases the damage effect. So beware of the reverse damage.

The battle below will feature the Fire & Regret battle.

In this fight, two rules apply. Fire & Regret and Armored Up. With a mana cap of 44 points, I can freely select monsters from my collection.

The choice fell to the fire summoner, who removed the shield bonus. Aside from that, the summoner can bring in gladius monsters. I avoid using archer monsters, so the KRASH WANDERWOOD monster is the first choice, followed by PEREXIAN HERO, who provides weapon training skills. SCAVO HIRELING offers shield repairs. FEROX DEFENDER provides protection and repair. DJINN APPRENTICE and SORRIEL THE BALE finish it with their magical attacks.

The enemy relies on melee attacks. I still get protection from the shield bonus. In the first round, I used the taunt ability to attack SHIELDBEARER. A group of sneaky monsters attacked SORRIEL THE BALE.

In the next round, all of the monsters at the back of my battle line were killed by sneak attacks. Meanwhile, at the front, KRASH WANDERFORD both defended and attacked. The Bloodlust and Thorn abilities enable him to defend from the front.

My two monsters repaired the shield, which reduced the enemy's repeated attacks. While KRASH WANDERFORD gradually began to recover, his speed and attacks increased.

Many enemy attacks in the following round were missed due to KRASH WANDERFORD's increased speed. However, attacks from the back continued to target my team.

Finally, only KRASH WANDERFORD retained the ability to produce thorns and move quickly. This gives me an advantage because the enemy's attacks are melee. As a result, many counterattacks cause self-injury. I can finally win this battle.

During this battle, all players recognized that using archer monsters was extremely detrimental. As a result, melee monsters and magic are the most common options. I took advantage of the enemy's use of melee monsters. Thorn's ability allowed my team to win this battle.
