THE BATTLE

This time, there are three battle rules: Broken Arrow, Noxious Fumes, and Fog of War. The number of mana available is 29, and the elements that can be used are death, water, and life.

I sent the Pelacor Deceiver because it requires little mana but has a lot of health points. Also, his ability to avoid attacks via his flying abilities.
With 0 mana, use Corpse Fiend as a formation filler. As a sacrifice that deflects enemy attacks.
I chose Riftwing because of the scavenger's ability to gain large amounts of health by using a small amount of mana.
The monster I chose to reduce the opponent's health points by one point is Will-o-wisp.
Harklaw was chosen because it has a level 2 Immunity ability. This is useful when dealing with the fighting rules of Noxious Fumes.
Because of the low mana and the ability to attack with magic attacks according to the fog of war rules, I chose the Darkest Mage.

THE BATTLE BEGINS

👉 LINK BATTLE 👈

Thaddius Brood was the summoner I chose. With his ability to reduce magic attacks as well as opposing monsters' health points, I will have an advantage in the Noxious Fumes rules. To counter poison attacks, opponents appear to rely on healing and triage abilities.

All summoner effects and skill effects of each monster begin to work in the first round. Because the Will-o-wisp ability reduces 1 opponent's health point, I can reduce a total of 2 enemy monster health points with my summoners.

My monsters all attack in the same direction, to the Coeurl Lurker, who has the Taunt ability. This monster has the most health points among the enemies. Hardy Stonefish, Merdaali Guardian, Spirit Hoarder, Doctor Blight, and Uraeus, who have low health points, will not last long due to the effects of poison with a reduction of 2 health points.

Uraeus cannot attack when an opponent attacks Deceiver's Pelacor. Because the rules of the fog of war prohibit sneak and snipe attacks. The enemy appears to have ignored those rules when deploying the Uraeus.

Pelacor Deceiver can still survive at the end of round 2. However, the additional rules of the fight directly poisons the ranks of enemies who only have low health points. And one by one, they were taken out of the fight. As a result of the scavenger skill, Riftwing gains health points. Of course, Coeurl Lurker was left alone at the start of the next round.

With Coeurl Lurker's remaining health points of two, the poison's effect automatically removes him from the battlefield, and victory is on my side.

DID MY PLAN WORK?

My strategy worked well in this fight. Because I was aware of a battle rule that grants poison at the end of the round, I was able to reduce the opponent's health points. Reducing two health points will almost certainly save one round of fighting attacks.

The enemy appears to be relying on a single monster to counter the poison attack. While the other monsters presented have low health points. The enemy hopes to survive as long as possible in battle by using healing and triage abilities. However, due to the reduction in health points early in the round, it did not work.

I anticipate the battle's course to last as long as possible, which is why the riftwing's scavenger skill comes in handy. Every time a monster is poisoned and knocked out of battle, the riftwing gains health.

If my strategy fails, I still prepare Harklaw, who has skill immunity that is unaffected by poison effects at level 2. and was successful because Harklaw's health points did not change until the end of the battle.

AFTERTHOUGHTS

  • Immunity abilities are required in battles with additional rules, specifically Noxious Fumes. Immunity abilities prevent monsters from being poisoned every round. The harklaw is installed in this team so that it can survive in battle without being affected by these negative effects.

  • The scavenger ability is also very useful for extending the battle's duration. The more monsters that are defeated, the more health points the monsters with the scavenger ability will have.

  • Reduce the opponent's health points as much as possible to increase your chances of winning the fight. Use the weaken skill to cause the enemy's health to drop, which will then be reduced by the poison effect every round.
