Was It Worth It? 50K Glint Major Chest Opening Results
![]()
Hello, Splinterlands warriors!
Welcome back to my Splinterlands post. This time, I’d like to share an exciting story about my experience opening reward chests at the start of a new Splinterlands season — complete with a bit of drama and, hopefully, some of the awesome cards I’ve been aiming for.
I decided to open Major Chests because, based on my personal experience, my luck tends to shine in these ones. Plus, the price per chest is still quite affordable for my Glint balance — and honestly, I just love the “gacha” thrill more than buying cards directly from the market. Hehe.

For those who don’t know, Major Chests are one of the big reward chests in Splinterlands that can be opened using Glint, the in-game currency earned from playing and completing daily or seasonal missions. Inside these chests, players can find various exciting rewards such as new cards, potions, merits, and even rare scrolls!
I had been saving Glint for a while and finally managed to collect 50,000 Glint. I purposely waited until this Halloween — since it coincides with the release of a new card series and special skins. Splinterlands just launched 13 new skins that can be bought with Glint, along with 4 summoner skins, 4 rare variants, and 3 classic Spooky Skins from previous editions returning to add to the fun.
Now, with 50k Glint in hand, I started wondering:
“Will my luck still hold up this time?”
The Chest Opening Moment
I hit the “Reveal All” button, and one by one, the chests began to open.

The first card that appeared was Saltwraith Bulkhead (rare), followed by Grim Bonewhip, and a few potions and merits. Not long after, Husk of the Hunter showed up with 3 BCX — not bad at all!
Then suddenly… one of the chests started shaking intensely.
The next second, my screen flashed with a golden-purple light — a sure sign that a legendary card was about to appear!

And sure enough — it was Kervik, a legendary water-element card with 3 melee sneak attack. The feeling was just incredible! Honestly, after that, I didn’t even pay much attention to the remaining chests, because my eyes were glued to Kervik. Hehe. The rest were just potions and three common cards, but that rush of excitement is still fresh in my mind.

With 50k Glint invested, the rewards I got were clearly beyond expectations. Although I didn’t pull any Unbind Scrolls this time, getting Kervik already made this chest-opening session special enough.
What’s really interesting about recent Splinterlands updates is the addition of the Campaign feature and new skins, which make the gameplay feel more refreshing. For new players, these features are a great way to understand the game mechanics without jumping straight into ranked battles. And if your card collection is solid, your progress and strategies become much more flexible.
That was my experience opening Major Chests this time — fun, intense, and definitely rewarding!
If you’ve got a stash of Glint, try saving it up and opening your chests during special events or the start of a new season. Who knows, maybe you’ll get lucky like me — and pull a legendary card that strengthens your lineup!
See you in my next Splinterlands post — and may your Glint bring you good fortune too!
