WEAK MAGIC | BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge!

The rebellion has begun. The battle in Splinterlands is intensifying. As a result, knowledge of the rules and fighting strategies must be sharpened once more.

In this post, I'll be completing the Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge, theme is WEAK MAGIC. This game's rules do not favor monsters with magical attack abilities. So, how can these fighting rules be anticipated and exploited? See this post for more information.

WEAK MAGIC

If you come across a logo similar to the one above during your battle, keep the following in mind:

• Your magic monster will become weaker. The attack will not be able to penetrate the opponent's shield. In fact, magic attacks must first damage the shield before hitting the health points of the opponent's monster.
• It is preferable to use monsters that can provide shield bonuses. This makes it difficult for your opponent to kill your monster.
• Use monsters with shatter abilities as well. Specifically, an attack ability that can instantly remove the opponent's shield bonus.
• Monsters with the ability to repair shields will be extremely useful in allowing your monsters to withstand enemy attacks.

Please remember to follow any additional rules that come with the Weak Magic rules. This improves your chances of winning.

RULES AND TACTICS

We will witness a battle between earth elements in this fight. where both parties select one from the four elements, namely fire, water, earth, and death. The maximum number of mana points that can be used is 29.

I went with LOBB LOWLAND, which is backed up by a slew of melee monsters. I only use one monster with magical abilities, and that is QUEEN MYCELIA. This monster was chosen because of its ability to grant shield bonuses to all combat personnel.

The enemy, employs a summoner to boost the strength of their magical attacks. The attack was directed at the tank, MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN, based on the battle formation displayed. Other monsters, on the other hand, have arrow and magic attacks.

In the initial round. The summoner's strength increases the opponent's magical attack. THANE NEWSONG's ability adds 1 melee attack power to monsters in my battle line. KATRELBA GOBSON attacked MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN but was unable to disarm her. Meanwhile, the opponent's monster attack successfully eliminated the DISINTEGRATOR in round 1.

KATRELBA GOBSON defeated MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN in the second round. The Bloodlust ability is active. THANE NEWSONG, on the other hand, had to leave the battlefield due to repeated attacks by the enemy's monsters. KATRELBA GOBSON advances to first place while still holding three shield points.

REGAL PERYTON fought KATRELBA GOBSON in round three. The shield of KATRELBA GOBSON was destroyed. However, because he was able to defeat REGAL PERYTON, the bloodlust skill, which was now active, was able to restore the shield by 1 point. This was sufficient to repel the opponent's magical attack.

GOBLIN PSHYCIC faced KATRELBA GOBSON in round four. GOBLIN PSYCHIC was quickly knocked out with a double attack. The Bloodlust skill has been reactivated, and the KATRELBA GOBSON shield has been restored by one point.

In round 5, KATRELBA GOBSON's bloodlust skill was able to eliminate all of the remaining monsters in the opponent's line. So victory belongs to my team.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I was able to make good use of the fighting rules in this fight. Specifically, adding monsters with shield bonus abilities. This is very useful for reducing enemy monsters' magical attacks.

Meanwhile, the enemy was defeated because they used monsters with weaker magical attacks in this battle. The shield deflects the opponent's magical attacks.

Aside from that, another advantage I have is the ability to send monsters with bloodlust. When a monster with the bloodlust ability defeats its opponent, the shield grows or appears, along with the addition of other statistics. This is what allows KATRELBA GOBSON to finish off the opponent's monster by reducing the opponent's magical attacks.

Because of the shield's assistance, I was able to win this fight. Without the shield, the opponent's magical attack would be able to eliminate my monsters one by one.
