BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge

RULESET: Reverse Speed

Description:

Units with lower speeds will attack before units with higher speeds. Attack Accuracy based on speed will also be reversed.

Units with the Bloodlust ability will increase speed after killing a unit.
Avoid using Slow as this will help your opponent.

In battles with the Reverse Speed Ruleset, having a lower speed can provide an advantage in battle because units with lower speeds will attack before units with higher speeds. Additionally, in battles with the Reverse Speed Ruleset, Attack Accuracy based on speed will also be reversed.

In battles with the Reverse Speed Ruleset, I make sure not to use the Slow Ability and the Swiftness Ability because both abilities can give my opponents an advantage. And I make a point of using units with lower speeds.

I can say that the units I use most in battles with the Reverse Speed Ruleset are Fire, Life and Death units because I have more cards with lower speed in these units.

• Swiftness Ability : All friendly Units have their Speed increased by 1.
• Slow Ability : Reduces the Speed of all enemy Units by 1.

• Weak Magic: Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.
• Active Units : Fire, Life, Death and Dragon

MY STRATEGY

Before determining my strategy, when I reviewed the opponent player's recent battles, I saw that they had very powerful cards. Frankly, it was very difficult to predict what kind of strategy the opponent player would team up with in this battle, so I would have to take every possibility into consideration when determining my strategy.

First of all, I chose Eternan Brune as the Summoner to reduce the armor of all monsters in the opposing team by 2 and use one Gladiator card, as I believed that having no or less armor on the monsters in the opposing team would make my strategy work better in this battle.

I will be careful to use monsters with lower speed in this battle. In the first position I will put Grum Flameblade, which has only 1 speed, and in the second position I will put Chimney Wallstop, which only has 2 speed. Both of them have the Bloodlust Ability, so when they destroy their targets, all their stats will increase. This could be a disadvantage in the next rounds, but considering their speed and attack power, I thought it would not be a huge disadvantage, and I believed that the Bloodlust Ability could help me win in this battle.

I put Venari Marksrat with the Martyr Ability in the third position. I put Mordeus, who has only 2 speed and Opportunity Ability, in the fourth position. I was very confident in Mordeus in this battle because I thought it could destroy the most effective monsters with low health on the opposing team. I put Scavo Firebolt in the fifth position and Scorch Fiend in the last position. Scorch Fiend only costs 0 mana. If the opposing team had a monster with sneak or opportunity ability, I wanted it to be their first target.

Eternan Brune is a Fire Summoner who reduces the armor of all enemy monsters by -2 and allows the use of one additional Gladiator card in battle.

Position 1 : GRUM FLAMEBLADE

Grum Flameblade is a Monster that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has Bloodlust Ability, Void Armor Ability and Void Ability at level 2. I put Grum Flameblade in the first position. It was an advantage that Grum Flameblade only had 1 speed and 5 armor, so I added Grum Flameblade to the team.

• Bloodlust Ability : This Monster revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats.
• Void Armor Ability : Magic attacks hit this Unit's armor before its Health.
• Void Ability : Reduced damage from Magic attacks by 50%.

Position 2 : CHIMNEY WALLSTOP

Chimney Wallstop is a Gladiator that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has Reach Ability and Bloodlust Ability from level 1. I put Chimney Wallstop in the second position because it has the Reach Ability Ability.

• Reach Ability : Melee attack Units with the Reach ability may attack from the second position on the team.
• Bloodlust Ability : This Monster revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats.

Position 3 : VENARI MARKSRAT

Venari Marksrat is a monster that can attack the target with a ranged attack and has Martyr Ability from level 1. I put Venari Marksrat in third position.

• Martyr Ability : When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats.

Position 4 : MORDEUS

Mordeus is a Monster that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has Opportunity Ability at level 1. I put Mordeus in the fourth position. I was very confident in Mordeus in this battle because I thought it could destroy the most effective monsters with low health on the opposing team.

• Opportunity Ability : Units with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Unit with the lowest health.

Position 5 : SCAVO FIREBOLT

Scavo Firebolt is a Monster that can attack the target with Ranged Attacks and has no abilities at level 3. I put Scavo Firebolt in the fifth position.

Position 6 : SCORCH FIEND

Scorch Fiend is a Monster that can attack the target with a Melee Attack and has no abilities at level 2. Since it only costs 0 mana, I added her to the team and put it in the last position.

BATTLE COMMENTS

To be honest, the opposing player's strategy was also very good, it was wise to use the Protect Ability in such a battle. This battle would have been very difficult for my team if I had not reduced the armor of all monsters in the opposing team by -2, but I had reduced the armor of all monsters in the opposing team by -2, thus eliminating the armor advantage of the opposing team.

• Protect Ability : All friendly Units gain +2 Armor.

Round 1

In the first round, all monsters attacked their targets effectively and none of them missed. Since Mordeus had the Opportunity Ability, it attacked and destroyed Ravenhood Warden, who had the least health in the opposing team. In addition, it was clear that Mordeus would be very effective in the following rounds as the opponent team's low-health monsters did not have armor.

Round 2

In the second round, all monsters hit their targets, so none of them missed. It was a result of the opposing player and me using monsters with lower speed in this battle. At the end of the second round, one more monster from the opposing team was destroyed, and all monsters on my team were still alive. Meanwhile, Mordeus made the final hit to HARKLAW and destroyed it. Also, it wasn't good for my team if REVEALER stunned Grum Flameblade, as it would cause Grum Flameblade to be destroyed sooner.

Round 3

In the third round, Chimney Wallstop's and Mordeus' attacks were very brutal, both of them destroyed one monster from the opposing team. Additionally, the enemy monsters managed to destroy Grum Flameblade. It was admirable that all the monsters hit their targets and none of them missed, but the fact that the monsters on the opposing team had no armor made them easier to destroy.

Round 4

In the fourth round, there were only 2 monsters left on the opposing team, both of them were very powerful monsters, but the fact that 5 monsters on my team were still alive was a big disadvantage for them. They were unable to withstand the brutal attacks of Chimney Wallstop and Mordeus, and both were destroyed in the fourth round, and my team managed to win this very tough battle.

Although the battle had 41 mana, it lasted only 4 rounds. It was remarkable that at the end of the battle, all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, while 5 monsters on my team were still alive. My strategy worked very well in this battle so my team easily won a very tough battle against a very powerful team. Frankly, the fact that I reduced the armor of all monsters on the opposing team by -2 and added Mordeus with the Opportunity Ability to my team was very useful in this battle, because for these two reasons, it was much easier to destroy the monsters on the opposing team.
