BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge

RULESET: Silenced Summoners

Description:

Summoners do not give any buffs/debuffs or grant/use abilities.

Use your lowest cost and highest level summoner within this ruleset.


In battles with the Silenced Summoners Ruleset, Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities. That's why I prefer to use low mana cost and highest level Summoner cards in battles with the Silenced Summoners Ruleset. Frankly, I can say that I like this ruleset. I can also say that I prefer Dragon Summoners the most in battles with the Silenced Summoners Ruleset, because I like to use the Dragon Unit together with one of my favorite Units.

Let's examine the Silenced Summoners Ruleset in a battle.

  • Melee Mayhem: Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position.
  • Silenced Summoners: Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
  • Broken Arrows: Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.
  • Active Units : Water, Life, Death and Dragon
  • Mana Cap : 57

MY STRATEGY

Considering the rulesets of the battle, it was more advantageous for me to use Melee Attack Monsters in this battle, so I determined my strategy accordingly.

First of all, I chose Quix the Devious as the Summoner because I would use the Dragon Unit and the Water Unit together in this battle. And I will add the cards that will be most effective in this battle to my team.

I put Agor Longtail, which has Flying Ability, Taunt Ability and Void Armor Ability, in the first position, because Agor Longtail can both attack the target very powerfully and defend very well against almost all monsters.

In the second position, I put Kulu Mastermind, who has Weapons Training Ability, Opportunity Ability and Shield Ability. Kulu Mastermind's having both Weapons Training Ability and Shield Ability is a great advantage in such battles. I'll put Noa the Just next to its since it has the Weapons Training Ability.

In the third position I put Noa the Just, who has Rust Ability and Dodge Ability. I thought reducing the armor of all enemy monsters by 2 would give my team an advantage, so I put Noa the Just next to Kulu Mastermind to have attack power.

In the fourth position I put River Hellondale, who has Resurrect Ability and Inspire Ability. I believed that these two abilities would give my team a great advantage in this battle. Especially thanks to the Inspire Ability, the Melee Attack Monsters in my team would be able to attack targets more powerfully.

In the fifth position, I put Coastal Sentry with the Double Strike Ability. Double Strike Ability can be really effective in these types of battles, so I added Coastal Sentry to my team.

In the last position, I put Desert Dragon, which has Trample Ability and Piercing Ability. These two abilities can be incredibly effective in battles, and since the Desert Dragon only has 6 health, I put it in the last position.

Brief Descriptions of the Above Mentioned Abilities

  • Flying Ability : Has a 25% bonus chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Units who do not have the Flying ability.
  • Taunt Ability : All enemy Units target this Unit (if they are able to).
  • Void Armor Ability : Magic attacks hit this Unit's armor before its Health.
  • Weapons Training Ability : Adjacent Units gain half this Unit's attack if they have no attack themselves.
  • Opportunity Ability : Units with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Unit with the lowest health.
  • Shield Ability : Reduces damage from Melee and Ranged attacks by 50%.
  • Rust Ability : Reduces the Armor of all enemy Units by 2.
  • Dodge Ability : Has a 25% higher chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.
  • Resurrect Ability : When a friendly Unit dies it is brought back to life with 1 Health. This ability can only trigger once per battle.
  • Inspire Ability : Gives all friendly Units +1 Melee attack.
  • Double Strike Ability : This unit attacks twice each round.
  • Trample Ability : When a Monster with Trample hits and kills its target with a Melee attack, it will perform another Melee attack on the next Monster on the enemy Team.
  • Piercing Ability : If Melee or Ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage the target's Health.

BATTLE COMMENTS

Round 1


Battle Link

In the first round, almost all monsters attacked their targets effectively, only River Hellondale missed Djinn Oshannus. Reducing the armor of all monsters on the opposing team by 2 gave my team a huge advantage in this battle, and Kulu Mastermind's destruction of Venari Wavesmith early in the first round was great for my team. While 2 monsters from the opposing team were destroyed in the first round, all monsters on my team were still alive.

Although the enemies managed to destroy Agor Longtail in the second round, it was brought back to life thanks to the Resurrect Ability. Frankly, the attacks of the monsters in my team were very brutal and they caused their targets to suffer serious damage. Especially Coastal Sentry's attacks were very brutal. In the second round, another monster from the opposing team was destroyed, but all the monsters on my team were still alive. At the end of the second round, the opposing team had 3 monsters left, but the monsters in the first two positions had very little health, so it would not be difficult to destroy them in the next round.

Although the opposing team managed to destroy Agor Longtail in the third round, this was not enough for them. My team managed to win this tough battle quite easily by destroying the remaining 3 monsters on the opposing team.

Even though the battle was 57 mana, it only lasted 3 rounds. It was remarkable that at the end of the battle, while all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, 5 monsters on my team were still alive. My strategy worked very well in this battle so that my team won a very tough battle against a powerful team quite easily. I can say that especially reducing the armor of all monsters on the opposing team by 2 was very useful in this battle, so I take great care to use the Rust Ability in such battles. Monsters without armor are much easier to destroy. Also, if I had added a monster with the Tank Heal Ability to my team, even Agor Longtail might not have been destroyed.
