In battles with the Target Practice Ruleset, all Ranged Attack and Melee Attack Monsters gain the Snipe Ability. I can say that Target Practice is one of my favorite rulesets, I would love to have this ruleset in all battles because I can win many battles with this ruleset.

  • Snipe Ability : Targets the first enemy Unit with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that is not in the first position.

My favorite strategy in battles with the Target Practice Ruleset is to put Quora Towershead in the first position and Monsters with the Martyr Ability in the second and third positions. This strategy works very well in many battles, I can say that I won many battles, even the most difficult ones, thanks to this strategy.

Today I will share my toughest and most competitive battle with the Target Practice Ruleset, I hope you like it.

Also, I would like to point out that Rebellion pre-sale opportunities are still ongoing, there are approximately 5 days or 158,888 Rebellion packs left until the pre-sale ends. My goal is to buy as many bulk Rebellion packs as I can before the pre-sale ends. If you want to take a look at the Rebellion pre-sale, click here.

Battle Ruleset

  • Target Practice: All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.
  • Lost Legendaries: Legendary Monsters may not be used in battles.

MY STRATEGY

Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player, I saw that the opposing player had very powerful cards compared to my deck and I knew that I would be fighting against a Level 6 Summoner in this battle, so I needed a better strategy to win this battle.

I knew that this battle would be quite tough, but I was happy that I could use my favorite strategy because with Quora Towershead and 2 Monsters with Marty Ability, I had a good chance of winning such battles.

First of all, I chose Helios Matriarch as the summoner so that I could use my Quora Towershead card. And I put Quora Towershead in the first position, and I put monsters with Marty Ability in the second and third positions.

Also, I will use the Protect Ability to give all friendly monsters an extra +2 armor. Frankly, I didn't want to use Arkemis the Bear, which costs 12 mana, but I had no choice. I added Arkemis the Bear to my team because I knew that all monsters would need armor in this battle. In the last two positions, I put ranged attack monsters that I believe will be effective in this battle.

LINE UP

Summoner : HELIOS MATRIARCH

Helios Matriarch is a Dragon Summoner that allows the use of one additional Gladiator card in battle, and grants +1 speed to all friendly monsters. I chose Helios Matriarch as the summoner to be able to use the Quora Towershead card in this battle. Additionally, all monsters in my team having +1 speed would give an advantage in this battle.

Position 1: QUORA TOWERSHEAD

Quora Towershead is a very powerful Gladiator with both Magic Attacks and Melee Attacks and has Bloodlust Ability and Heal Ability at level 2. I had a lot of confidence in Quora Towershead in this battle and believed it would help me a lot to win this very tough battle. And I put Quora Towershead in the first position.

  • Bloodlust Ability : This Monster revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats.
  • Heal Ability : Restores a third of max health to this Unit's health each round.

Position 2: VENARI MARKSRAT

Venari Marksrat is a Neutral Monster that can attack the target with a ranged attack and has Martyr Ability from level 1. The most important reason I added Venari Marksrat to my team in this battle was because it had the Martyr Ability. I put Venari Marksrat in second position next to Quora Towershead. When Venari Marksrat died because it has the Martyr Ability, adjacent Monsters would get +1 to all stats. I put Venari Marksrat in the second position and it would be the first target of Snipe Monsters, if the opposing player uses Magic and Ranged attack monsters it would be the first monster to die.

  • Martyr Ability : When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats.

Position 3: FUNGUS FLINGER

Fungus Flinger is a Earth Monster that can attack the target with a ranged attack and has Martyr Ability and Blind Ability at level 5. The most important reason I added Fungus Flinger to my team in this battle was because it had the Martyr Ability. I put Fungus Flinger in third position. After Venari Marksrat died, the Snipe Monsters' next target would be the Fungus Flinger. I believed that if my strategy worked the way I wanted, I could win this very difficult battle.

  • Martyr Ability : When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats.
  • Blind Ability : All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks have a 15% higher chance of missing their target.

Position 4: ARKEMIS THE BEAR

Arkemis the Bear is a Neutral Monster that can attack the target with melee attacks and has Protect Ability and Halving Ability at level 4. The most important reason why I added Arkemis the Bear to my team was that it had the Protect Ability, and I put it in the fourth position. Although it will not attack except in the first position, I added it to the team because I believe that all monsters in the team will need +2 armor in this battle.

  • Protect Ability : All friendly Units gain +2 Armor.
  • Halving Ability : The first time this Unit hits a target, that target's attack is cut in half (rounded down).

Position 5: RUNIC SKYCLAW

Runic Skyclaw is a Dragon that can attack the target with Ranged Attacks and has Flying Ability and Snipe Ability from level 1. Runic Skyclaw can attack targets powerfully and defend powerfully against Ranged and Melee Attack Monsters, so I added it to the team and put it in the fifth position.

  • Flying Ability : Has a 25% bonus chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Units who do not have the Flying ability.
  • Snipe Ability : Targets the first enemy Unit with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that is not in the first position.

Position 6: ULOTH DHAMPIR

Uloth Dhampir is a Earth Monster that can attack the target with Ranged Attacks and has Stun Ability from level 1. I thought the Stun Ability would be very effective in this battle, also, Uloth Dhampir can attack targets powerfully, so I added it to the team and put Uloth Dhampir in the last position.

  • Stun Ability : When a Unit with Stun hits a target, there is a 50% chance that the target will skip its next turn.

BATTLE COMMENTS

You can watch the entire battle from the video or from the Battle Link

Round 1

Frankly, the opponent player's strategy was also very good and the opponent team was very powerful compared to my team, so this battle was going to be very tough. But the opponent player's strategy was very close to my prediction, but Cursed Windeku, who has Thorns Ability and Heal Ability, was in the first position in the opponent team, which made me a little annoyed because he was the only monster that could mess up my strategy.

In the first round, it was admirable that all monsters hit their targets, but Cursed Windeku's Heal Ability was annoying for my team. In the first round, Venari Marksrat was destroyed, which was already part of my strategy so I'm glad it was destroyed. Also, Uloth Dhampir stun Prismatic Energy was great.

Round 2

The opposing team's attacks were much more effective, so they destroyed Fungus Flinger very easily. Actually, this was part of my strategy, but it was frustrating that no monsters from the opposing team could be destroyed. At the end of the second round, one more monster from my team was destroyed, while all the monsters from the opposing team were still alive. On the other hand, it was a good thing that all of Quora Towershead's stats increased by +1 twice in the first two rounds.

Round 3

In the third round, while all monsters attacked their targets effectively, it was admirable that Runic Skyclaw evaded an attack. At the end of the third round, one monster from the opposing team was destroyed and Cursed Windeku's health was reduced to 6. And if Quora Towershead doesn't miss in the fourth round, Cursed Windeku will be destroyed, which will be great for my team.

Round 4

In the fourth round, Quora Towershead managed to destroy Cursed Windeku, which was great news for my team because now my team was closer to victory. I think it won't be too difficult for Quora Towershead to destroy the targets in the next rounds.

Round 5

In the fifth round, Uloth Dhampir was also destroyed and 4 monsters on the opposing team were still alive. But Quora Towershead is a Gladiator powerful enough to destroy them all, so I still had confidence in her.

Round 6

In the sixth round, Quora Towershead destroyed another enemy, which meant that she received +1 to all her stats, and Quora Towershead was now more powerful than before.

Round 7

In the seventh round, Quora Towershead destroyed another enemy and it was now impossible to deal with her because she could attack her targets more powerfully.

Round 8

In the eighth round, Quora Towershead managed to destroy the last 2 remaining monsters on the opposing team. She kept my trust in her and showed a great performance in this battle.

The battle lasted 8 rounds. Frankly, the opposing player's strategy was also quite good and the opposing team was quite powerful, so it was a very tough and competitive battle. Even though the opposing team was quite powerful, I was happy to win this battle, and I was also glad that my favorite strategy in battles with the Target Practice Ruleset worked in this battle as well. Indeed, in such battles, it works very well to put Quora Towershead in the first position and monsters with Martyr Ability in the first two positions, so that it is possible to win many of such battles, even the most difficult ones. I should also point out that you should not forget to give them armor, otherwise they can be easily destroyed, and this strategy may not work. It was also admirable that by the end of the battle, Quora Towershead had 8 Magic Attacks, 9 Melee Attacks, 11 Speed, 2 Armor, and 18 health, , which is exactly what I wanted to explain in this strategy. I recommend you to watch this interesting and quite challenging battle from the Battle Link. I hope you will like it.
