DJINN OSHANNUS NFT Card Review with Void Ability and Phase Ability | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

DJINN OSHANNUS is a very powerful magician who can attack the target with Magic Attack and has very powerful abilities. Djinn Oshannus can both defend powerfully and attack enemies powerfully. Djinn Oshannus is my favorite monster and helps me win many battles, even the toughest ones. He can also adapt to many of my strategies, so when I have the opportunity, I can add him to my team in many battles without hesitation. I usually use Djinn Oshannus with Delwyn Dragonscale and Alric Stormbringer Summoners because thanks to them Djinn Oshannu can attack the target more powerfully. Delwyn Dragonscale and Alric Stormbringer give +1 Magic Attack to all friendly Magic Attack Monsters. I can use him not only with them but also with all Water and Dragon Summoners because Djinn Oshannus is a very powerful monster with really powerful abilities so he adapts to many of my strategies.

Djinn Oshannus reduces the damage from Magic Attacks with his Void Ability, and he's a pretty fast monster, and Melee Attacks and Ranged Attacks can miss him. Also, when the card is upgraded to level 2, he gains Phase Ability so Magic Attacks can also miss him. So the level 2 Djinn Oshannus can be missed by Magic, Melee and Ranged Attackers, allowing me to build powerful strategies with him.

I think Djinn Oshannus's a monster that every team can need, and I would like to point out that this card can be obtained from chests as a reward.

DJINN OSHANNUS has the Void Ability and at level 1, the Phase Ability at level 2 and the Forcefield Ability at level 3.

  • Void Ability : Reduced damage from Magic attacks.
  • Phase Ability : Magic attacks can miss this Monster (using the same hit/miss calculation as for Melee and Ranged attacks).
  • Forcefield Ability : This Monster takes only 1 damage from attacks with power 5+

DJINN OSHANNUS is a very powerful Monster with really powerful abilities that can be very effective in battles and very useful for the team. Also Djinn Oshannus is a Legendary Monster in the Water Unit that belongs to the Reward edition. Djinn Oshannus costs 8 mana and has 2 Magic Attack, 5 speed, 10 health at level 1. Also, his Health is increased by 1 when upgraded to level 2, and his Magic Attack is increased by 1 when upgraded to level 4. Considering his mana cost and abilities, it makes me prefer him in most battles. Frankly, as long as I have the opportunity, I can add him to my team in many battles.

I usually put Djinn Oshannus in the first position, I think his most efficient position is the first position, but I can put him in different positions depending on the battle's ruleset and my different strategies. When I upgrade my DJINN OSHANNUS NFT card to level 3, he will be able to defend more powerful against powerful attacks, so I plan to upgrade my card to level 3 soon, and I would love to upgrade it to level 4 in the future. Frankly, it's easier for me to upgrade the regular one, but I want to upgrade the gold one because it's the card I use the most.

My Strategy

Before starting the battle, I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opponent player and saw that they have quite powerful cards. Especially the level 2 Scarred Llama Mage and level 2 Kron the Undying caught my attention. Considering the ruleset of the battle, I could predict that I would be fighting against Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying in this battle.

Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying are one of my favorite combos and it's really not easy to fight against them. But on the other hand, it is not difficult to beat them with a good strategy. Kron the Undying is a powerful monster with the Heal Ability. Scarred Llama Mage is a very powerful summoner that gives +2 health and Last Stand Ability to all friendly monsters. This Summoner will cleanse all debuffs from the friendly monster in the first position each round. Additionally, the Scarred Llama Mage cleanse all debuffs from the friendly monster in the first position each round. Scarred Llama Mage is a very powerful summoner that can turn even normal cards into bosses. In particular, Scarred Llama Mage and Monsters with the Heal or Tank Heal Ability can be the perfect combo. But I think the best is Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying combo.

I knew this battle could be pretty tough so I had to come up with a very good strategy. Kron the Undying would have 5 Magic Attacks when the last monster remained, and would also heal his health by 6 each round. This meant that we had to deal at least 7 damage to Kron the Undying each round to win the battle. Also that wouldn't be enough, besides, the monster that was in the first position in my team needed to have a strong defense against 5 magic attacks and not be destroyed.

DJINN OSHANNUS can defend very strong, so I added him to my team without hesitation. Thanks to his Void Ability, he would take 3 damage from 5 Magic Attacks. That's why I put him in the first position in my team. I also added MERDAALI GUARDIAN with Tank Heal Ability to my team. Thanks to MERDAALI GUARDIAN, DJINN OSHANNUS' health will heal by 3 each round. This meant that his health would be healed by Merdaali Guardian as much as the damage he took. But that wasn't enough to win the battle, we also had to inflict at least 7 damage to Kron the Undying each round. That's why I put WATER CALLER with Stun Ability and SCAVO TECHNOMANCER with Blast Ability on the back line. Both attack the target with 1 Magic Attack. Also, I chose Alric Stormbringer as the summoner, Alric Stormbringer gives +1 Magic Attack to all friendly Magic Attack Monsters. So my team would be able to attack the target with a total of 7 Magic Attacks each round. According to my strategy, as long as DJINN OSHANNUS was not destroyed, we could have won this battle, even if it was difficult.

  • Heal Ability : Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round.
  • Last Stand Ability : Gains increased stats if it's the only Monster on the team alive.
  • Tank Heal Ability : Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.
  • Void Ability : Reduced damage from Magic attacks.
  • Stun Ability : When a Monster with Stun hits a target, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.
  • Blast Ability : Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster.

The opposing player preferred Scarred Llama Mage as I guessed. Honestly, if it were me too, I would prefer Scarred Llama Mage as the summoner in a battle like this. Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying strategy is a very powerful strategy in my opinion, but my strategy was more powerful. We managed to destroy the opposing Flesh Golem in the 5th round, it wasn't too hard to destroy him as he wasn't the last monster. But when Kron the Undying was the last monster left, his stats would increase.

As Kron the Undying was the last monster alive in round 5, his stats increased and he had 5 Magic Attack, 3 Speed, and 20 health. It would not be easy to destroy him, but we would be able to destroy him eventually.

The battle lasted 19 rounds and it was a pleasure to win this very difficult battle. My strategy had worked well in this battle. It was also noteworthy that DJINN OSHANNUS had 11 health when the battle was over. You can watch this wonderful and challenging battle from the video or the battle link

My Opinion

DJINN OSHANNUS is a very powerful Monster with really powerful abilities and can be very effective in battles. And I can say that he is much more effective when used with a good strategy. Also, when I upgrade my DJINN OSHANNUS NFT card to level 3, it will be very effective in battles as above. That's why I plan to upgrade my card to level 3 as soon as possible. But no matter how powerful the card is, it is much more important that I use them with good strategies to get the most out of it. This also gives my team an edge in battles.
