SAND WORM Attacks So Brutal. Why Did I Upgrade the Card? And Focus Chest | Splinterlands

SAND WORM is a very powerful monster that attacks the target mercilessly and causes enemies to take devastating damage. The only downside of SAND WORM is that it's slow, it only has 1 speed at level 1 so it can miss some attacks. and it gets very annoying in some battles. It's very annoying when a very powerful attacking monster like SAND WORM misses targets. For these reasons, I upgraded my card to level 2 to increase the speed of SAND WORM by +1. I've found the level 2 SAND WORM to be much more useful in battles, so I'm planning to upgrade it to level 4 soon to increase attack power and health. I would also love to upgrade it to level 10 in the future.

SAND WORM has the Sneak Ability at level 1, the Snare Ability at level 6 and the Piercing Ability at level 10.

  • Sneak Ability : Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.
  • Snare Ability : When attacking enemies with Flying, removes the Flying ability and cannot miss.
  • Piercing Ability : If Melee or Ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage the target's Health.

SAND WORM misses Flying Ability Monsters a lot in battles so I find it very useful to upgrade this card to level 6 because when level 6 is upgraded it gains Snare Ability.

  • Up to Eleven rule means all Monsters have the Amplify ability.
  • Lost Legendaries rule means Legendary Monsters may not be used in battles.

Before starting the battle, I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player and saw that they have quite powerful cards. I thought Sneak Monsters could be quite effective in this battle and I especially thought SAND WORM would help me a lot in winning this battle, so I didn't hesitate to add it to my team. I recommend watching this great battle via video or battle link and you can also see how effective SAND WORM is in battles.

I didn't fight much today because I didn't have much time so I was able to loot 3 gold chests.
