Why is Lineup of Monsters as Important as Strategy and Power in Battles? And Focus Chest | Splinterlands
Power and strategy are very important to win battles, in addition, the lineup of the Monsters is much more important. I take care to put the Monsters in the position where they are most efficient, as well as adjust the lineup of the Monsters according to the strategy of the opponent player. The positions of the monsters can change the fate of the battle, in other words, even if the opposing team is very powerful, the position of the monsters and the lineup of the monsters determine the winner of the battle.
Lost Magic
Armored Up
Aimless
Mana Cap 20
- Lost Magic rule means Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles.
- Armored Up rule means all Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.
- Aimless rule means all Monsters have the Scattershot ability.
Before starting the battle, I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player, and considering the rulesset of the battle, I guessed that the winner of this battle would be determined by the Sneak Monsters, and I determined my strategy accordingly. I added 2 monsters with the Sneak Ability to my team and put them in the third and fourth position to keep them away from the attacks of the opposing Sneak Monsters. I put 2 monsters in the fourth and fifth positions on my team, frankly, the most important reason I put them there was to stall the Sneak Monsters in the opposing team.
- Sneak Ability :
In this battle, our strategy with the opposing player was very similar, and our summoner and monsters were almost the same, but there were slight differences in the lineup of the monsters. Also, the level of summoner and monster cards on the opposing team was higher than my team. This meant that the opposing team was more powerful. But my strategy worked much better in this battle and my team was able to win this battle.
