Why Should I Add DAARG DEADBLAST to My Deck?

(Edited)

Daarg Deadblast has been the card that caught my attention the most this season and that's because I see so many players incorporating it into their strategies. Unfortunately, this card is not in my deck yet. When I reviewed the characteristic of the card, I saw that Daarg Deadblast is a very powerful Water Monster with really powerful abilities.

Daarg Deadblast Stats

Daarg Deadblast is a Water Monster that can attack targets with Magic Attacks and has the Weapons Training Ability and Swiftness Ability at level 1, the Triage Ability at level 2, the Dodge Ability at level 3.

  • Weapons Training Ability : Adjacent units with no attack gain this unit's attack, up to a maximum of 3.
  • Swiftness Ability : All friendly Units have their Speed increased by 1.
  • Triage Ability :
Heals the friendly back-line Unit that has taken the most damage by a third of max health.
  • Dodge Ability : Has a 25% higher chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.

Dearg Deadblast is a Legendary Card in the Water Unit and belonging to the Rebellion edition. It costs 7 mana. The Dearg Deadblast NFT Card is currently starting at $19,26 on the market. The Gold Foil Dearg Deadblast NFT Card is currently starting at $166 on the market.

Frankly, its price is higher than I expected, but so many players use this card that it is not surprising that its price is so high. The most preferred strategy by players using this card is as follows;

This strategy is really brutal for the opponents and I really want to add the level 2 Daarg Deadblast card to my deck as soon as possible. I have explained below the easiest way to beat the strategy involving Daarg Deadblast.

Battle Ruleset

  • Explosive Weaponry: All Monsters have the Blast ability.
  • Tis but Scratches: All Monsters have the Cripple ability.

Many players who prefer Magic Attack Monsters put monsters that can defend strongly in the front lines and aim to defeat their opponents with monsters in the back line, in fact, it is not very difficult to defeat their strategy.

In order to defeat this strategy of the opponents, I aim to destroy the opponent team with Monsters with Sneak Ability and Opportunity Ability while putting monsters with Void Ability in the first two positions, and I can say that this strategy works well in many battles. I would also like to say that I included the Tank Heal Ability in my strategy to make it harder to destroy the monster in the first position. The battle above is one of the best examples of this, and indeed, this strategy has helped me win many battles against Magic Attackers, I recommend you try it. You can watch the battle from the Battle Link.

Brief Descriptions of the Abilities I Mentioned Above

  • Blast ability :
Does half damage (rounded up) to Units adjacent to the target Unit.
  • Cripple ability :
Each time an enemy is hit by a Unit with Cripple it loses one max health.
  • Void Ability :
Reduced damage from Magic attacks by 50%.
  • Sneak Ability :
Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit.
  • Opportunity Ability : Units with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Unit with the lowest health.
  • Tank Heal Ability : Restores a third of max health to the Unit in the first position each round.
