Battle Mage Secrets - Rise of the Commons

Hi splinter warriors,

Welcome to my blog. This is an entry to the weekly battle mage secretes contest. Well, so far so good the season is seasoning. Am still trying hard to get into silver and then maybe I can attempt getting into gold. Am not in a hurry cause I know with patience and determination I’ll get into a higher league.

So yh let’s get into the post. For this post, I’ll be using my account @rubilu.

Battle Ruleset

Ruleset Icon	Description
	Rise of the Commons: Only common and rare monsters may be used in battles.

This Ruleset is one I don’t like very much. I don’t get the chance to use Kron and the other crazy cards. But then I can use the life element cards. So in this case I could use barbarian and it was all that I wanted to use.

Summoner: The Lorna shines. This is a 3 Mana summoner that allows me to use the life cards. The only reason why I use this shield is because it grants my card with the divine shield ability at the start of the battle. So if I was gonna win this battle it was going to be cause of the divine shield.

Drybone Barbarian. I didn’t get the chance to use Kron and when that happens I only look to two other melee cards. This is the grum flameblade and the Drybone. So yeah I went with Drybone.

Drybone barbarian is a life card with 9 mana, it has 11 health with 4 melee attacks. It has a speed of 2 and my favourite feature is the rage ability. The rage ability helps its stats to increase when it gets attacked by an opponent.

With this feature, I tend to always lean towards dry bone.

Round 1

My opponent had a captain, Katie. When I saw Captain Katie I got scared, I was like naa am gonna lose this battle cause Captain Katie is a blood lust card with 3 magic damage.

But it was his other card that made the first attack but missed due to divine shield.

So Katie had her way through to Drybone and made her impact with -3 damage but then I was happy since the rage applied. It attacked back but could only clear her shield.

My portal spinner attacked his venari crystalsmith next and this was the last attack of the round.

In this round, none of our cards died.

Round 2

In this round, my opponent venari Crystal Smith made the first attack of the battle on my Drybone but it had just 1 range so it was little damage.

Drybone took the anger and attacked Katie next and killed it off. It was just before his Venari crystal smith healed her back.

His venari Crystal smith came into position and attacked my Drybone but as usual, it was little damage.

In this round, I killed my opponent Katie and he killed none of mine.

Round 3

---

His venari Crystal smith healed back but before it could land a single attack Drybone did the honours of killing it.

This was just 3 round of glory and the summoner played a big role in this. It was good to win even though I thought I was gonna lose.
