Hi splinter warriors,

Welcome to my blog. This is an entry to the weekly battle mage secrets. About 6 hours to go and we’re done with this season. I’ve been able to loot about 53 season chests but then am still in bronze so I don’t expect incredible rewards there. This time around am no longer rushing to get into Silver cause I know it will take some time.

So yeah, let’s get into it.

Battle Ruleset

Ruleset IconDescription
image.pngSilenced summoners: Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/ use any abilities.

With this Ruleset, it affects your summoners. Your summoners do not give you anything about the chance of allowing you to use your element that comes with the summoner. For me, I like choosing summoners that give me stat buffs so since it wasn’t available why not just go with a low mana summoner?

Summoner: Mylor Crawling. I mostly go with this summoner because it grants my cards the thorns ability. This time I didn’t have that but I still wanted to use the earth element so I opted for mylor. I chose Mylor cause it has the lowest mana among the Earth summoners that I have.

Hill giant. The Hill Giant was one of my favourite cards when I started Spl. It was a card I opted for each time I wanted to use the earth cards. Now that I have better cards I don’t go for it when I have a huge mana.

The Hill Giant is a 3 mana card with just 1 melee, it has 1 speed and 6 health; probably why I like it when the mana is low. Yes, it has one speed so it kind of attacks late but with the 6 health it’s sure to survive the first round of the game.

Round 1

My opponent came with fire cards that had either 2 speeds or more. With that, he attacked first. His tenyi striker which is a melee card but has the opportunity ability attacked first. The opportunity ability allows the card to attack my last position card. My last card was Kron so I was kind of safe there.

Kron restored back that life and attacked his chaos agent which is a nine attack card. Am sure he placed it there to waste my attack for that round. I was fortunate cause I vanquished it with my first attack of round 1.

His forgotten one came into first position and immediately attacked the hill giant. With a melee attack of 4, it took a lot of health from my bill giant. My Venari marksrat attacked it back but then it had just one range attack so it was virtually useless. To make it worse it had a shield of 4 so the attack wasn’t deadly.

In this round, I vanquished one of my opponent's cards and he didn’t kill any of mine. It was his chaos agent that I was able to kill.

Round 2

With my hill giant having just 2 health left I was sure it was gonna get killed in this round. But the first attack wasn’t on it, rather it was on my kron from my opponent’s tenyi striker. Remember it has the opportunity ability and it’s the card with the highest speed in the battle so yh.

As usual, kron healed and had a go at my opponent's first position card. With a magic attack of 3, it did take something from it. After the attack on the forgotten one it finally vanquished my hill giant card.

My fungus fiend came into first position. With a melee attack of one alongside my venari marksrat I attacked my opponent’s forgotten one but it wasn’t of much use since it had a shield. I couldn’t get through to him with that attack.

In this round, my opponent vanquished my bill giant but I didn’t kill any of his.

Round 3 - 7

With his tenyii striker still available I was sure its first attack of the round was gonna be on Kron. It did but since Kron has a lot of health it was nothing. Kron healed back to full health and attacked his forgotten one. His forgotten one did not die from that attack so it attacked my fungus fiend which had low health. It vanquished it putting my venari marksrat in first position.

In round 4 it was the same old story with Tenyi striker attacking Kron first. Kron healed back to full health and attacked his forgotten one and successfully vanquished it.

His scorch fiend came into the first position and with its first attack of the round, it was on my venari marksrat which was now virtually useless since it was in the first position.

In round 5 kron was able to vanquish his scorch fiend bringing his Tenyi striker into first position. I was glad this happened to cause it meant his tenyi strike wouldn’t be targeting my kron anymore.

In round 6, his tenyi striker came into the first position and successfully killed venari marksrat. I was glad this happened cause I wanted it to. I mostly place that card in my lineup because of its maryr ability. So when it died I had the stats of my Kron card increased.

In round 7 I vanquished his tenyii striker.

Sincerely I didn’t think the battle was gonna go on for this long. This is cause I thought I was going to get it easily but then yh my opponent was clever. If he had brought grum flame burg he could have finished me off easily.
