Hi splinter warriors,

Welcome to my blog. Another week of exciting battle where I look to talk about my battle mage journey.

The season has ended again and well this time I made significant progress. I finished in silver II this time round and was almost close to silver I. I also earned silver seasonal rewards this time round and I think the rewards there were pretty decent as well.

This time round I was able to rack up 13 silver chests and will be earning silver chests for next season as well. Hopefully I can play more and earn more silver chests.

So let’s get into it.

Ruleset IconDescription

For this battle the ruleset is close range

This implies even if the range attack card is not a card that attacks in the first position, it will gain that ability because of this Ruleset. so you can use any range card in the first position.

Since this was a Ruleset that had not stuff buffs and debuffs I didn’t care about the special use of range cards in the first position. I was especially excited cause I had the chance to use my Favorite earth cards for this battle.

My line up

I went in for the lost llama mage summoner so it could grant me that last stand ability.
It also grants your cards +2 health and also cleanses your first card from any debuffs by the enemy.

I went in for the unicorn mustang melee card as my first card especially because of its speed, a healer, a martyr card and kron as my last card so I could get and use the last stand with a card as strong as kron.

Lets rumble.

My opponent started the game really well. With just one hit one of my cards was already gone. At this rate I was scared for kron because he has a card which had the snipe ability and also the opportunity ability. This meant it wasn’t going in for my first card but rather it was going in for my middle and last cards.

It was as I said as his cards kept on attacking my middle cards and my last card leaving Mustang all alone. I didn’t expect that to happen but as long as kron has the healing ability it was hard to just kill it.

In just 2 rounds, my opponent finished 2 of cards off already leaving 3 of my cards to face this battle. I hadn’t yet made a single kill and it didn’t look good at all.

With some luck I was able to vanquish his first card which me at his string snipe and opportunity melee card came into first position. I was happy it came into first because it meant I could target it and kill it off now.

I successfully cleared its shield and with a few attacks I killed it. In less than 5 round I was left with just one card; Kron. Kron had to do it all on its own but then it had stats buffs from last stand ability taking its magic attack to 6 and its speed to 5. With few hits I finished off his first position card.

The rest of the cards remaining had very little health so it was easy to kill them.

For me, the game changer for this battle was that u had a magic card. And that the magic card was a string one. If the magic card was one that wasn’t strong I would have had a very hard time cause I would have had to clear the shield of my opponent cards before getting to its health.

Oh posted it mistakenly to the inleo community and now it’s too late cause the deadline for the battle mage has passed. I’ve made the submission so can I be pardoned for this one time?
