EOS regrets and wonderful battling last minute.

Hi guys,

The hi guys that I did right there randomly made me remember YouTubers lol. Not to give anything away but I know in another life I’ll definitely try out YouTube content creation. So I am excited cause I almost made it into champion III today. Something which has never happened in my spl career. I can attribute this to the fact that it was season ending and a lot of the seasoned players weren’t even playing anymore cause they didn’t wanna loose my positions before the season ends. But then it was also a good one for me.

If I can remember correctly it was left with about 40 rating to get into champion but I kept on meeting opponents who were good and so I couldn’t make it past that mark.

I can also attribute it to eagerness. I knew that getting on a winning streak will definitely get me there and then when I was about to get that winning streak I over thought it and went in for cards or a selection of cards which didn’t make it happen for me.

I had quite a good run of games till I realised I couldn’t make it to champion so I gave up. If you’ve been following up with my posts you’d realise that I hardly play spl this days and so coming back to always deplete my energy was a different type of feeling for me.

Let me end this post with one of the battles of the last hour before the season ended. It was a regular battle with the Ruleset even monsters, blood and sunder and then fog of war. I specifically don’t like the super sneak Ruleset cause you’d be forced to put in a lot of magic cards; don’t get me wrong, I love magic cards but if the mana of the game is not much you’ll be limited to going in for cards which aren’t strong.

So with that I had to go in for the immortalis summoer. I went in for this cause i guessed my opponent too will come in with magic cards but then I was wrong as he ended up bringing just one magic card.

I went in for Arkemis bear, magi of chaos,venari spellsmith, goblin psychic, doctor blight and xenith archer. I know I wouldn’t have gone for this line up if I had the choice to get in odd mana cards but it didn’t work out.

Round one went well surprisingly. I say it this way cause I thought I was gonna loose it. I was on the verge of loosing arkemis until my turn to attack arrived.

Well since I almost lost arkemis in round one I knew I was gonna loose it in round 2 as early as possible. It did happen and the same scenario was about to happen for magi of chaos when it came into the first position. But things took a great turn when i attacked.

I did looose magi of chaos and other cards but then I still won. It was an interesting battle but I didn’t loose more than 3 cards which was a great deal. This match was fought and won in round 1 and 2, the rest of the rounds were bonus rounds in my opinion.

This season is where we finally see the survival mode, let’s see if we can make good use of it.
