New Rulesets; New Feeling To The Game.

Hi guy,

Can I say this is another entry? I am questioning this cause I didn’t make an entry last week into the social media challenge. Well, my blog has been dry for close to 10 days which is actually not something that I like doing.

Procrastination has unfortunately become something that I am accustomed to now and boy I hate it lol. I’ve always said that I’d like to write a blog every day of the week. For sometime now I’ve been doing that and suddenly I decided not to post for a day and it came 10 days lol.

Since then we’ve seen some awesome changes to splinterlands and today I’d like to talk about some for them.

Today i’d like to talk about some of the new additions to the game. There have been 5 new rulesets that have been added to the game and as I always say it’s a good thing for regular players like some of us.

Let’s take a loot at these Rulesets.

Heavy Metal

What this means is that you can only summon armored units. When a Ruleset like tube appears in game you have the chance to use this ruleset summoner buffs doesn’t favour you in this type of game. The thing is that you are allowed to use cards who have armor from when they were created.

This Ruleset is more or less like using a lot of melee cards. Yes there are a lot of range or magic cards that have shield but not as much as melee cards. My advice for dealing with this type of Ruleset is to have a summoner in play that removes or clears part of your opponent shield.

Next thing is you can use summoner that has the scatter ability and you’re good to go.

For someone who wants to take advantage of this you can use this by also having the resurrect ability in your team.

Might Makes Right

What this means is that you can only summon units with 3+ power. This applies to all types of elements in game. So this means if you go for a range, melee or range card that cards needs to have an attack of 3 or more.

Here I think a lot of people might have a problem as well. The thing is yes we do have cards with that kind of might but when this filter occurs you’ve been limited in the number of cards you can select.

But once again this Ruleset is self explanatory as usual.

Need For Speed.

What this means is you can only summon units with 3+ speed.

If you’ve been following my battle mage posts you’ll realise that I do well to summon units that have a lot of speed. For me attacking first is my number one trait of winning and also with a lot of speed on your side your opponent might miss its turn.

The need for speed Ruleset is self explanatory so I don’t think we need a lot of explaining here.

Deflection shield

What this means is that all your cards get the reflection shield ability.

The reflection shield ability is one of my most beloved abilities. What the reflection Ruleset means is that most attacks against it don’t affect. Defects like thorns, blast and a whole lot of debuffs doesn’t affect it.

Beefcakes

As much as this Ruleset name sounds funny to me I still find it very intriguing. A Ruleset that says you can only summon units with 5+ health.

Well I don’t see this as a problem cause as for me I mostly go in for cards with high health as well.

So this one too doesn’t need a lot of explanation as well.
