Hi guys,

Welcome to my blog. This is an entry to the weekly splinterlands social media challenge. This week I’ll be writing about one of my battle. Am mostly playing battles so yeah that’s what I write for my social media challenge.

After the end of season I dropped to bronze III and ever since I’ve not played a lot so am still in bronze III. So let’s get into it.

Battle rulesets

Ruleset ImageDescription
image.pngStandard: Standard: No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics

With this Rulesets I wasn’t restricted as to the type of element I could use. This is why I like the standard modifications rulesets.

Am slowly turning away from the mylor and obsidian summoners when I get this type of Ruleset. So let’s see how I lined up for this.

My line up

My opponents line up

Summoner:

For this game, I used the scarred llama mage. With this summoner all your monsters get +2 health, it also cleanses all rebuffs from the friendly monster in the first position and the reason why I love it is my last monster gets the last stand ability where all stats of my last standing monster has all its stats upped. This is why I make sure to put in the kron the undying card. The scarred llama mage summoner is a 7 mana card and as such when you select it your options are limited.

This was a 26 mana game and as such I selected just 3 cards for it.

1st position

For the first position I went with the mycelic morphoid. This card is slowly becoming one of favourite cards when I go in for her earth element. It has a 1 mana with 1 melee attack. It also has just one speed and the reason why I like it is because it has the thorns ability. When I use this card I always hope my opponent can land at least one melee attack on it so it can use its thorns ability on it.

Now with the summoner I picked it granted it an additional 2 health making it pretty hard to kill.

Round 1

With my kron having the highest speed it attacked first. It attacked my opponent’s orc seargent first. The orc seargent is a pretty good card with some shield. But since my kron is a magic card it evaded its shield and went directly for its health.

My opponent’s orc seargent attacked my mycelic morphoid next and reduced just one health. My card gave the throrn effects and could only clear its shield.

My opponent’s goblin tower which is a range card attacked next. It was in the second position so I was hoping I could kill off my opponents orc seargent quickly so it could come to the first position and not attack. My opponents goblin tower went for my mycelic morphoid and almost killed it.

In this round none of our cards were killed.

Round 2

With his orc seargent almost dying my kron made the battle easier. With my 3 magic attack I vanquished it quite easily. My wish came to life as his goblin tower came into first position. With a range attack it was useless and my mycelic morphoid took advantage to attack it first.

In this round I vanquished my opponents orc seargent.

Round 3

image.png

Since his goblin tower couldn’t attack I did most of the attacking. My kron took advantage at the start of the round and vanquished it quickly. With his mycelic infantry coming into first position I knew it was over for my mycelic morphoid and well I was right. With just one attack it killed it off. But before dying it made sure to affect its shield.

In this round I killed his goblin tower and he also killed my mycelic morphoid.

Round 4

Kron did his attack and reduced its health dramatically. My mycelic infantry was in first position now and with its next attack it left its mycelic infantry with just one shield. His mycelic infantry made the next move on mine and could only clear its shield as well.

None of our cards died in this round.

Round 5

image.png

The battle was fast coming to an end as he mycelic infantry was almost dead. Kron did his magic attack on it and left it with just one health. My mycelic cleared its health and left it pretty helpless.

He did his attack on my mycelic and finally cleared it health completely.

None of our cards died in this round.

Round 6

image.png

Kron was finally able to vanquish his mycelic moving his failed summoner into first position. This was his last card as well.

My mycelic did the first attack and cleared it shield.

In this round I vanquished his mycelic and none of my cards were killed.

Round 7

image.png

His failed summoner had not made an attack yet and well my kron and mycelic had already done its damage leaving it with just one health. It has the magic reflect ability after my kron attacked it but it did it no good as I still vanquished it. In this round I vanquished his last card and won the game.

Am slowly loosing interest in using the last stand summoner lol. I feel like it’s a summoner that spoils how you normally play so yeah.

This is my battle link
