Hi guys,

Welcome to my blog. It’s been a while since I posted to my blog actually. Everyday I tell myself am going to make a post but then I procrastinate till whenever and end up not making the post. Since am off duty today I’ve decided to make that post.

And I’ll be making a solinterlands social media post. For this type of post I can write anything about spl but then I like to write about my battles for this one. So as usual I’ll be writing about one of my battles.

So for a while now I’ve been playing in the wild league since the changes to how the modern format works. The modern league has better rewards but with the removal of some of my favourite cards it has become really hard for me to compete over there. I’ve not familiarise with most of the other cards so it’s really really hard to just play in the modern for me.

Let’s get into it.

So it’s been long since I used grum to play in a game. So with the conditions of this game I decided to go in for the fire elements. This time round I was limited to just 4 elements so my best bet was to go in for fire cards.

The Ruleset for this game was fire and regret. Which means all monsters have the return fire ability. This ruleset only affects range attack monsters.

I didn’t care about this Ruleset as my main focus was on sending only melee cards and then adding a martyr card in the first position to give grum an additional stats.

Being in the first position also meant it wouldn’t even have the chance to attack.

Round one panned out how I thought it would. Each time I send in a martry card I wished for it to be killed as early as possible. It did happen for me as it was killed with just a few hits putting grum in the first position.

Even after coming into first position it did take a few hits but with it’s void magic ability it was able to only take damage to it’s shield. Remember with the death of the martyr card it meant that its speed increased from 1 to 2. Also a melee attack of 6 was all to die for.

My tenyii striker tried to launch a last minute attack on the opponents kulu swimhunter but it missed.

Round 2 was a familiar round as his cards attacks the same way. Grum was in pole position to make damage but with the addition of scavo hireling it was hard cause his first card was getting the shield back each time grum neutralised it.

With just tenyii and grum as my only 2 cards it was going to be hard to get a win unless his scavo died. Tenyii only attacks last cards so it was a relief on my part when tenyii striker was able to kill his scavo in round 2.

So now it meant that tenyii will be able to attack his scavo and kill it so that grum can have access to his first card.

It took 2 rounds more for tenyii to finally vanquish his scavo. It was now time for grum to shine with all that anger. With just one hit grum vanquished the first card now cause it had no shield anymore. This meant an increased stats for it.

With a melee attack of 8 now things were getting heated. Tenyii continued to do its work behind the scenes as Grum continued to take limelight. It didn’t take long for grum to be vanquished in the last rounds. At that time I tenyii did wonderful work of killing off all his cards only leaving on card to survive. After the vanquishing of grum tenyii came into first position and did the lords work lol.

It took the last hit and then killed my opponents last standing card.

It might look like grum did all the work but I bet you the hero was tenyii striker with all the underground work it did behind the scenes.

It’s a match I enjoyed working and with the martyr card It was not a good sign to use grum.

It's obvious you're a pro in the game, I'll like to play with you someday.
Your style of play and arrangement is amazing.
