Hi splinter warriors,

Two days to the end of the season and I am in haste to get into silver lol. Am not in the right state of mind right now so am not playing like I would love to. Nevertheless, I still spend hours playing, getting into bronze 1 and getting knocked out again. Am trying to get into Silver before the season ends so I will just drop to Bronze 1.

I’ve never gotten into silver before, no rush cause I’ve been playing for almost a month or so. Getting into silver is hard cause the moment I get into bronze 1 I get paired with people that have powerful cards. Am not complaining though, no one said it was gonna be easy. Now let’s get into the post.

Today I’ll be writing about one of my battles as usual. Am in bronze 1 at the moment and I’ll be using my account rubilu for this blog.

Battle Ruleset

Ruleset ImageDescription
image.pngEnrage: What Doesn’t Kill You; All monsters have the enrage ability.

This means you get to have increased melee attack and speed when damaged. Your stats also increase by 1.5x, rounded up.

Am not gonna lie. I get confused with this Ruleset but then I do know that one of my cards has the ability and I love to use it because of that. But then I didn’t use that card simply cause of the Ruleset. I used it because I didn’t have the chance to use the earth cards.

My opponents line up

Summoner:

Franz Ruffmane. This is a summoner I like using because of 2 cards, nope 3 cards. I will say three because each time I go for that Franz Ruffmane summoner you’ll find these :3 cards in my lineup. With this summoner, all my cards get a shield of +1 in addition to their normal shield and then I get the chance to use a gladiator card. This is when Captain Katie can step in.

The Franz Ruffmane is a 6-mana summoner and I love it.

First position

The Drybone Barbarian. Man I love this beast, I get it in the regular so I’ve managed to upgrade it to level 2. Hopefully, I can get more of it so I can upgrade it to higher levels.

The drybone barbarian is a 9 mana card with 4 melee, it’s a card with 2 speed and a health of 11. I love this card for two reasons. The first one is that it has plenty of health and the next one is that it has the enrage ability. It can quickly move from a 4 melee to a 6 melee when the enemy monster attacks it.

Round 1

When I saw my opponent's first position card I lost hope. His other cards didn’t scare me but with his first position card, it could do everything on its own. The grum flameblade was his first position card. It has a lot of abilities; it has a 4 melee with 10 health and it also has 5 shields. It also has the bloodlust feature which makes it deadly. One annoying thing about this card is that it has the void armour ability. This means even magic attacks will hit its shield as long as it’s there.

His summoner provided him with more speed so he attacked first. I hate it when my captain Katie gets attacked first, but that was what happened. His tenyi striker made the first attack on Katie and cleared all of its shields.

My stunner card came in to save the day by stunning his grum flameburg. This meant it was gonna miss its turn to attack in this round and that was a big relief for me.

His halfing alchemist attacked my dry bone next and halved its attack by 2. But when it could only clear its shield so that wasn’t much of a concern either.

His goblin fire baller attacked next and it was on my drybone. It wasn’t much as it is a card with just 1 range but then it did help activate its enrage ability to boost its attack a little.

With his grum stunned, my dry bone attacked it but couldn’t even clear all of its shields.

Katie made her move and immediately vanquished my opponent’s halfing alchemist. I like it when Katie kills a card, then its stats get boosted since it’s a blood lust card.

In this round, I killed one of my opponent's cards and he couldn’t kill any of mine.

Round 2

As usual, his tenyii striker made the first move on Katie. I was a little relaxed as Katie had boosted her health and some shield as well.

My stunner did the usual by stunning his grum foameburg helping it miss its attack for this round as well.

Katie made its next kill by vanquishing my opponent's goblin fireballer. Now its magic was 5 with 4 speed and 8 health.

Drybone did the last attack for the round on my opponent grum flameburg but didn’t reduce much of its health either.

In this round, I killed one of my opponent's cards again but he couldn’t kill any of mine.

Round 3

As usual tenyii striker made the first attack of this round on Katie. Only managing to clear its shield.
Katie made its move but this time one grum flameblade, I didn’t like it as I wanted her to target my opponent’s lower cards.

image.png

Stunner did his thing but stunned Grum one more time making sure it missed its attack for the round once more. At this rate, my opponent will be boiling since it was round 3 and Grum hadn’t yet made a single attack.

With its reduced health dry bone tried vanquishing it but it couldn’t as it had one health left. His summoner healed it back to 4 health.

Round 4

Tenyii made his move on Katie for the round. Katie returned the favour on grum and vanquished it. Mehn, my opponent Grum made not even a single attack in the whole match before dying. All thanks to Runeslinger, my stunner card.

image.png

His tenyii striker came into the first position and got stunned as well. Drybone took the initiative and attacked but couldn’t kill it.

In this round, I killed my opponent Grum and well he couldn’t kill any of mine.

Round 5

His summoner healed him back to a 4 and Captain Katie did the rest to vanquish it.

His last card came into first position with just one health. Runeslinger took the opportunity and killed it.

image.png

The unsung hero of this match was my runeslinger, this is because it stunned Grum the whole time and it couldn’t attack the whole time.

Without Runeslinger am sure I would have lost the battle.

A mi humillo una carta gladius con esa condición, subió su daño, y empezó a ganar stats a lo loco con mi cartas.

Haha, yh. At times you even stun the card and it doesn't get stunned lol. That's why they are called gladius cards after all right.

La gladius fueron una exquisita mecánica del juego, pero si sobrevive es un terror.
