Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - New Reward Cards

Hi guys,

Welcome to my blog for another exciting entry into the splinterlands social media challenge. Everyday I keep on making progress in the game and well I can only be proud. Before the start of June of this year I had less than a 1000 staked sps and today as I write this post I have over 3000 staked sps.

I have my goal for the end of this month and hopefully I can get there. Sincerely I don’t like setting crazy goals anymore cause it ends up being the only thing I want to achieve within the shortest possible time and man I don’t like it.

For now, I aim at getting to 10k before the start of next month and I know with patience and dedication to the game I can get there. I don’t mind what the price of sps is now as majority of the coins are feeling the heat.

Before last season ended I wanted to get into the diamond league and remain there. I was able to get to diamond III before the season ended and then I was dropped back to gold and well this season again I managed to get into diamond once more. But I am not there any longer as I’ve been beaten back to gold. For now I wanna get into diamond and stay there for at least 2 seasons. If I can stay there for that long then I can aim at getting into champion later on.

Enough of that, I wanna talk about the new reward cards that will be added to the game at the start of next season. For now we have less than 4 days till this current season ends and for now we are making effort to get as much chaos legion reward cards before the rebellion set is added.

With the introduction of the new rebellion reward cards it means the chaos legion set will be ending and as much as we like the chaos legion set we are set to see a new chapter of the game. The features that we have seen before the update are really encouraging and we hope it can stand and make the game as interesting as we will like it to be.

Let me dive into some of the features that excite me.

Execute- This is a feature that Ive come to appreciate as I play spl everyday.

The execute ability allows you to make another round of attack on a card that have 2 or less health after you attack it. Time without number I have attacked a card and almost killed it but then I always wished I could make another round of attack to just kill it off. The execute ability will be mind blowing if you’re the one doing it to an opponent lol.

Corrupted healing- This is another ability that I love. At times I get frustrated when I am able to corrupt a healing card but then it heals its way through it. With the corrupted healing ability a unit looses 1 health when it heals after it has been corrupted.

For now this are the abilities I appreciate. The rest of abilities are nice but they are ones I’ve not seen in real time so I don’t think of them now. So let’s see. Can’t wait till next season starts.
