Hi splinter warriors,

Welcome to my blog. We are getting to the end of this season slowly. T-3 days and that’s a wrap for this season. I don’t know if I should say this season has been a good one or a bad one. The thing is I’ve managed to rack up only 4 season chests and with the way things are going I doubt I can get up to even 10.

Not that am lazy or anything but just that this season am earning silver chests so it’s harder to earn chests there.

Enough of the season talk. Let’s get to what this post is about. This is an entry to the Splinterlands social media challenge.

Battle Rulesets

Ruleset ImageDescription
image.pngUp to Eleven: All monsters have the amplify ability.

This means that it increases magic reflect, return fire and thorns damage to all enemy units by 1.

Summoner: Tarsa. Tarsa is a 4 mana summoner that contains the fire elements. Whenever I get to use fire elements my number one choice is Tarsa. This is for a few reasons, one of them being I get a +1 melee on all my melee cards and then they are also boosted by +1 health. So mostly when I choose Tarsa most of my cards if not all are melee cards.

Since the Ruleset affects magic cards, return fire and thorns I wasn’t going to be benefiting from that.

First position

With the way things are going am sure you’ll be seeing the Venari Marksrat in most of my lineups. Why? This is only because of its martyr ability, something I explain all the time. With this card, my next card will get a +1 to its melee and Infact all its stats.

I like to use it when I know Grum Flameblade will be getting the increased stats since it’s a killer card already.

Round 1

My opponent didn’t bring just 4 cards like I did, he brought a whole swamp of cards for the battle. It paid off up to a point cause he was the one to attack first.

So it was his range attacker(scavo firebolt) that made the first attack on my zidri fire. This is a card I tend to like using. It’s a no-attack card and all the opponent's cards target it till they kill it. It might look useless but then I feel like with it being in the show it acts like a distraction for your powerful cards to have time and space to function.

So my opponent's first two attacks were on it. His scavo firebolt missed its attack on it but his uraeus was able to clear its shield to leave it exposed.

My uraeus was the next to attack and well it went for my opponent’s last card( xenith archer). It attacked it it could only clear a bit of its health.

His radiated brute then made the next attack on my zidri fyre and also took a bit of its health as well.

His antoid platoon which is his first card went for my first card and with the aid of another was able to vanquish it. So grum flameblade came into first position. And with all the increased stats attacked his first card and well could only clear its shield.

His xenith archer made the last attack of round 1 and also missed.

In this round, my opponent killed one of my cards and I couldn’t kill any of his.

Round 2

This time round his scavo firebolt’s attack didn’t miss ok my zibri fyre.

Grum flameblade attacked his first card and took loads of its health.

With that attack, my uraeus attacked next and this time around was able to vanquish his xenith archer. His uraes made an attack on my zibri fyre and almost succeeded but didn’t kill it.

Then bus tenyi striker came in to only miss its attack on grum flameblade.

With a combined attack, his radiated brute and antoid platoon came after grum but couldn’t even clear its health.

In this round, my opponent couldn’t kill any of my cards while I killed one of his.

Round 3

Grum made the first attack of this round and it was a night one cause it killed my opponent’s antoid platoon. I was happy for this kill to cause it meant its stats were going to increase cause of its bloodlust feature.

His uraes card was finally able to kill my zibri fyre with my uraes attacking it back but could only get to its shield.

His tenyii striker attacked back and only got a bit of its health.

In this round, we both got to one of each other's cards.

Round 4

It seemed Grum flameblade didn’t talk much in the whole game but only came in to vanquish cards at the beginning of each round. It again attacked first in this round and vanquished my opponent radiated brute and well had increased stats. Its melee attack was now an 8 with 14 health and 4 speed.

image.png

His scavo firebolt attacked Grum this time and didn’t miss but only got to its shield.

With that, my uraes was able to vanquish his uraes card now with his attack. His tenyii striker attacked Grum and could clear its shield only.

Round 5-6

Grum came in once again to vanquish my opponent tenyi striker with one attack. Now his scavo firebolt came into first position but is a range card so it couldn’t attack and well grum had the honours of finishing it off in round 6.

image.png

I honestly wished he had more cards cause I could promise you grum would have gotten through all of them with just one hit lol.

Anyway, I enjoyed the grum show.
