Splinterlands Social Media Challenge- The Rebellion

Splinterlands new season has started and I hope we all are doing great as usual. Today my social media contest post will be taking a different direction. It’s not the usual battle post but today I’ll be talking about the rebellion.

If you’re playing splinterlands then my guess is you’ve heard about the rebellion presale way before it even started. The presale has begun already and going forward we have great statistics already. The presale was announced some time this month and it was slated to begin some days ago.

Incase you’re not an spl player and will like to know more about it I’ll explain it here.

The rebellion is a fifth core edition of the splinterlands game which they claim seeks to take the game to a new direction. Just as with chaos lgn packs rebellion packs will contain five cards in each pack giving the owner a chance to loot at least one rare card from each pack.

A rebellion pack costs 3 dollars which is approximately 5k Dec but a user can get a discounted price for 4k Dec if you use voucher.

There are two promo cards which have been introduced for players who buy rebellion packs but there’s a catch. There is a legendary card and neutral card. But to get any of those promo cards you’ll need to purchase 10 packs or 100 packs.

For now, I plan on getting 10 packs so I can get the grimbardun smith neutral card. I have just 2 packs for now and I’ll need about 32,000 Dec more which is about 93 hive and 40 vouchers. Getting vouchers is not expensive at the moment but it’s the Dec that is expensive for me. Anyways the presale is still on for about 26 days more so there is still time for me to gather some Dec. I would have planned on the quantity I wanted to get a long time ago but i didn’t understand any thing that I read about the rebellion set some weeks ago. Everything looked strange to me lol.

With this I hope I can pull a few gfls lol. That’ll be super great. The Presale can also end if all the packs are sold out before the deadline comes too.

When you buy the card you won’t be able to open them until December but a sneak peek into it gives us almost all the details about the cards in the packs. According to the team the new rebellion packs will introduce four new abilities into the game. These abilities are armoured strike, corrosive ware, flank and lookout.

Nothing more on what these will be able to do.

Some of the summoners in the packs will also allow you to be able to summon two elements into one team. Like you’ll be able to summon an earth element and a death element into a single team for a match; isn’t that crazy?

There are a lot of sneak peaks into what the rebellion set can do.

There are other advantages to buying a lot of the packs too. For people who are able to make it into the top 30 of the most owned rebellion packs ; they will have the chance to have the dawnbringer title and they will also have the chance to create a summoner for those in top 6 and the rest of the top 30 will only have the the title. Those in the top 250 of the leader board will have the rebel title as well.

That dram is pretty far from me at the moment. Maybe in some years to come heh? Hopefully.
