I’d like to look back on my experience with Splinterlands last year and share my goals for this year.

Last year, I think I did well with card trading and battles under the Frontier ruleset.

Card Trading

In Splinterlands, if you choose the right cards to buy, their prices can be maintained or even increase. Last year, I made profits trading the following cards.

Warborn Shaman is a promo card, and I believed its price wouldn’t fall below the original cost of 3,000 DEC. Based on that assumption, I bought a large number of them during a sale. I was also lucky to get some Gold Foils, and overall my investment ended up being worth about twice what I put in.

Hydra works very well with my deck, so I try to buy it whenever the price drops. Its price hasn’t really collapsed, and it occasionally spikes, so I’ve been able to make profits by repeatedly buying and selling it. Recently, however, the price movement has been fairly flat, and the low liquidity is a bit concerning, so I’m currently taking a wait-and-see approach.

In general, strong cards with limited supply tend to go up in price, so I think it’s best to consider whether a card would be desirable from a player’s perspective. This year as well, I plan to actively participate in sales and pick up promising cards whenever they become cheap.
Also, since the time when Rebellion rotates out of Modern is approaching, I’m planning to temporarily sell cards that can fetch high prices.

Battles

The Frontier mode reminded me of the good old days of Splinterlands. Winning battles, earning cards, and trading them—it’s a very basic gameplay loop. I feel that the introduction of SBT diminished the original experience, so it’s refreshing and fun to enjoy Splinterlands in a similar way again through Frontier mode.

I started with a very small investment, and I’m already in profit. I keep my deck and play casually whenever I feel like it.

This year, I’d like to continue earning a few packs every day in Frontier mode and enjoy trading them. It might also be interesting to aim for profits by closely watching the release of new cards and pack price trends.

As for Land, I joined too late and, to be honest, it doesn’t interest me that much. So this year as well, I plan to enjoy Splinterlands mainly through card trading and battles.

昨年のSplinterlandsの振り返りと、今年のSplinterlandsの抱負を書きたいと思います。

昨年はカード売買とfrontierルールでのバトルが上手くいったと思います。

カード売買について
Splinterlandsは購入するカードを選べばカード価格が維持 or 上昇するケースがあり、昨年は以下のカードで売買益が出ました。
Warborn Shamanはプロモカードですが、原価の3,000 ＤＥＣは下回らないだろうと考えてセール中に大量購入しました。ゴールドフォイルにも恵まれ投資額が２倍くらいになったイメージです。

Hydraは私のデッキと相性が良いので安くなった時に買うようにしていますが、値崩れが起こらずたまに価格が高騰するので、売買を繰り返すことで利益を上げています。最近は値動きがあまりなく、流動性の薄さも気になるので様子見です。

基本的には強くて供給が少ないカードの価格が上がるので、プレーヤー目線でカードが欲しくなるか考えてみるのがよいと思います。
今年もセールには積極的に参加するようにしつつ、ねらい目のカードについては安くなっていれば拾うようにします。
またRebellionがモダンから落ちる時期が近づいてくるので、高値で売れるカードは一旦売却したいと思っています。

バトルについて
Frontierモードが古き良きSplinterlandsを思い出させてくれました。バトルに買ってカードを獲得して売買する。非常に基本的な流れですがSBTの導入により元の体験は毀損してしまったと思うので、Frontierモードで昔と同じような楽しみ方ができて楽しいです。
投資額は非常に少なく始めたので、すでに黒字になっておりデッキを残したまま気が向いたタイミングでプレーしています。

今年もFrontierモードで毎日パックをいくつか獲得して、売買を楽しむことは続けていきたいと思います。
新しいカードの配布開始とパックの価格動向をウォッチして、売買で利益を目指すのも面白いかもしれません。

ランドは乗り遅れてしまったのと、正直あまり興味が湧かないため、今年もカード売買とバトルで楽しみたいと思います。
