I am happy to participate in the Share your Battle Weekly Challenge again this week. This time the rule for the challenge is simply dragons. That sounds pretty good, but I have to admit that I don't like to play my dragon deck too much, I prefer other elements. Still, I have been able to win a few games with the Dragon element. Today I'll let you take part in a battle, where I unfortunately left as a loser - even though I've won many times with this strategy/setup. But my opponent simply had the better tactics, but just look at it yourself.

Ich freue mich diese Woche wieder an der Share your Battle Weekly Challenge teil zu nehmen. Dieses mal lautet die Regel für die Herausforderung einfach nur Drachen. Das klingt recht gut doch gebe ich gleich zu das ich mein Drachendeck nicht all zu gerne spiele, da bevorzuge ich andere Elemente. Dennoch habe ich mit dem Element Drachen schon einige Spiele gewinnen können. Heute lass ich euch an einem Battle teilnehmen, bei dem ich leider als Verlierer ging - trotzdem ich mit dieser Strategie/Aufstelllung auch schon des öfteren gewonnen habe. Doch mein Gegner hatte einfach die bessere Taktik, doch schaut es euch einfach selber an.

The Battle

Now I will describe my Dragon battle step by step, tell you which strategy I chose when setting up my monsters and why I chose certain cards.
And last but not least I will tell you if my strategy was successful and why I like the chosen Dragon card or not.

Der Kampf
Nun werde ich euch meinen Dragon Kampf Schritt für Schritt schildern, euch verraten welche Strategie ich bei der Aufstellung meiner Monster wählte und warum ich bestimmte Karten wählte.
Und zu guter Letzt werde ich noch berichten ob meine Strategie Erfolg hatte und warum mir die ausgewählte Dragon Karte gefällt oder nicht.

Quix the Devious

My choice of summoner for my Dragon battle was Quix the Devious. His mana cost of 4 and the abilities he can provide to his monsters for battle brought me to this decision. I especially find his story interesting. My summoner card Quix the Devious is in level 1 and has 2 abilities to weaken the opponent.

Meine Wahl des Beschwörers für mein Dragon Kampf war Quix the Devious. Seine Manakosten von 4 und seine Fähigkeiten, die er seinen Monstern für den Kampf verschaffen kann, brachten mich zu dieser Entscheidung. Besonders finde ich seine Geschichte interessant. Meine Beschwörer Karte Quix the Devious ist in Level 1 und hat 2 Fähigkeiten um den Gegner zu schwächen.

Quix the Devious Mana cost: 4

And also with this ability, Quix the Devious slows down my opponent right at the beginning of the battle.

Und auch mit dieser Fähigkeit macht Quix the Devious gleich zu beginn des Kampfes mein Gegner langsamer.

Position 1

Robo-Dragon-Knight

Melee Attack: 3 / Speed: 3 / Shield: 8 / Health: 9 / Abilities: Void, Devine Shield

The first position takes the tank and I choose Robo-Dragon-Knight, because he is very strong and because I expected that my opponent comes with a lot of magic attacks. 11 mana costs are already heavy, but my Robo-Dragon-Knight wr me in other fights always a good tank, so I put him in the first position. With his ability Void he reduces Magic Attacks and with the ability Divine Shield damage is ignored for the first time.
My plan: Robo-Dragon-Knight should survive as a tank for quite a while, reduce magic attacks and protect himself independently with Divine Shield, 8 Shield and 9 Health. At the same time could hit with his Melee Attack 3 to weaken the opponent and that too with a 3 speed.

Die erste Position nimmt der Tank ein und ich wähle Robo-Dragon-Knight, weil er sehr stark ist und da ich damit rechnete das mein Gegner mit viel Magie Angriffen kommt. 11 Manakosten sind schon heftig, der mein Robo-Dragon-Knight wr mir in anderen Kämpfen immer ein guter Tank, daher setzte ich ihn an die erste Position. Mit seiner Fähigkeit Void reduziert er Magische Angriffe und durch die Fähigkeit Divine Shield wird ein Schaden das erste mal ignoriert.
Mein Plan: Robo-Dragon-Knight sollte als Tank eine ganze Weile überleben, magische Angriffe reduzieren und sich selbständig mit Divine Shield, 8 Shield und 9 Health beschützen. Zugleich könnte mit seiner Melee Attack 3 zuschlagen, um den Gegner zu schwächen und das auch mit einer 3 Geschwindigkeit.

Position 2

Carrion Shade
Carrion Shade was my favorite for the second position. With 1 mana cost it is very cheap, fast and has with its 2 life even melee attack on it. He served to protect my monster on position 3 a bit. In addition, his ability gives him the chance to dodge attacks.

Carrion Shade war mein Favorit für die zweite Position. Mit 1 Manakosten ist er sehr günstig, schnell und hat mit seinen 2 Leben sogar noch Nahkamp Atacke drauf. Er diente dazu mein Monster auf Postion 3 etwas zu schützen. Zusätzlich durch seine Fähigkeit verschafft er sich die Chance Angriffen auszuweichen.

Increases the chance to dodge melee or ranged attacks from monsters that do not have the Fly ability. Magic attacks are not affected.

Erhöht die Chance, Nah- oder Fernkampfangriffen von Monstern auszuweichen, die nicht über die Fähigkeit Fliegen verfügen. Magische Angriffe sind davon nicht betroffen.

Position 3

Serpentine Mystic

Serpentine Mystic can fight for the victory in the third position.
He is not the strongest with his 1 speed and damage, but he has a good ability Affliction.

Here I thought if the opponent comes with healing I could weaken him right away.
He was the one I chose last in my team and gave him the third position. He should simply surprise my opponent.

Serpentine Mystic darf auf der dritten Position um den Sieg kämpfen. Er ist zwar mit seinem 1 Geschwindigkeit und Schaden nicht der aller stärkste, aber er hat eine gute Fähigkeit Affliction. Hierbei dachte ich mir falls der Gegner mit Heilung kommt könnte ich ihn gleich wieder schwächen.Er war derjenige welche ich als letztes in mein Team wählte und ihm die dritte Postion verschaffte. Er sollte meinen Gegner einfach überraschen.

Magic Attack: 1 / Speed: 1/ Shield: 0 / Health: 3 / Abilities: Affliction

When a monster with Affliction hits a target, there is a chance that it will apply Affliction to the target, making it unhealable.
This ability was the decisive reason why I chose these monsters for my team.

Wenn ein Monster mit Affliction ein Ziel trifft, besteht die Chance, dass es Affliction auf das Ziel anwendet, wodurch es nicht mehr geheilt werden kann.
Diese Fähigkeit war der ausschlaggebende Grund dafür warum ich diese Monster in mein Team wählte.

Position 4

Naga Assassin

I put Naga Assassin in fourth position because she also has a very low mana cost and her speed could help me win. With her 2 life, she is level 1 for me. She is a hardworking ranged fighter and I like to use this monster card very much.

Naga Assassin stellte ich auf die vierte Position weil sie auch sehr wenig Manakosten hat und ihre Geschwindigkeit mir zum Sieg verhelfen könnte. Mit ihren 2 Leben ist sie bei mir auf Level 1. Sie ist eine fleißige Fernkampfkämpferin und ich mag diese Monsterkarte sehr gerne einsetzen.

I would like to introduce my Naga Assassin monster card to you now. Among the Naga Assassins there are many different types, sizes and cultures. Nagas have a ruthless character. The special thing I find is that the Naga Assassins are so fast and deadly that a real fight does not even take place. I especially like the use in battle because it has so little mana cost.

Meine Naga Assassin Monsterkarte möchte ich euch jetzt genauer vorstellen. Unter den Naga Assasinnen gibt es viele verschieden Arten, Größen und Kulturen. Nagas haben einen unbarmherzigen Charakter. Das besondere finde ich das die Naga- Assaninen so schnell und tödlich sind das ein richtiger Kampf erst gar nicht statt findet. Besonders gefällt mir der Einsatz im Kampf gerade auch weil sie so wenig Manakosten hat.

Position 5

Fire Spitter

The Fire Spitter occupies the fifth position in this fight. He is very fast with 4 speed and can fight with 2 damage at a distance. I chose him so that he can support my tank well and attack my opponent with his 2 ranged attack. He doesn't have a lot of mana cost and that fit for my strategy. A fast little ranged fighter.

Der Fire Spitter belegt in diesem Kampf die fünfte Position. Er ist mit 4 Geschwindigkeit sehr schnell und kann mit 2 Schaden im Fernkampf antreten. Ihn wählte ich damit der meinen Tank gut unterstützen kann und mit seinem 2 Fernangriff meinen Gegner angreifen. Er hat nicht viele Manakosten und das hat für meine Strategie gepasst. Ein schneller kleiner Fernkämpfer.

Position 6

Shadowy Presence

At the last position I put Shadowy Presence. This monster card is good at backing up and thus protecting others.
It has only 1 mana cost and 4 heat, so I like to use it.

Especially in the last position he serves me as another protection for the monsters standing in front of him.

Like another shadow that protect from attacks. I very much like to put him in fights in last position.

An letzter Postion stellte ich Shadowy Presence. Diese Monsterkarte kann gut Rückendeckung geben und somit andere beschützen. Er hat nur 1 Manakosten und 4 Heahlt, da setzte ich diesen gerne ein. Gerade an letzter Stelle dient er mir als weiteren Schutz für die Monster die vor ihm stehen. Wie ein weiterer Schatten der vor Angriffen schützen. Ich setzte ihn sehr gerne in Kämpfen an letzter Position.

That was already an exciting fight, I assumed in my selection that my opponent comes with more magical attacks and also attacks me more from the butt. His strategy had clearly brought more. By his + 1 ranged attack, my idea against - 1 ranged attack had brought nothing. I chose a strong dragon which should be supported by some small ones. But I didn't expect that my Robo-Dragon-Knight would get hits all the time. No, my strategy had not worked.

Hatte meine Strategie funktioniert?
Das war schon ein aufregender Kampf, ich bin bei meiner Auswahl davon ausgegangen das mein Gegner mit mehr magischen Angriffen kommt und auch mich eher von Hintern angreift. Seine Strategie hatte eindeutig mehr gebracht. Durch seine + 1 Fernattacke hatte meine Idee dagegen – 1 Fernattacke nichts gebracht. Ich habe einen starken Drachen ausgewählt der von einigen kleinen unterstützt werden sollte. Das aber mein Robo-Dragon-Knight ständig Schläge bekommt damit hatte ich nicht gerechnet. Nein, meine Strategie hatte nicht funktioniert.

Do I like the Dragon card?

Yes I like the Robo-Dragon-Knight because it is a very good melee fighter and can be used as a tank. I also like to use the Naga Assassin in fights with the Dragon element. Because of her low mana cost and her speed, she can contribute well to the victory. Unfortunately, they were not able to come out on top in this fight.

Ja ich mag den Robo-Dragon-Knight da er ein sehr guter Nahkämpfer ist und gut als Tank eingestz werden kann. Auch die Naga Assassin mag ich sehr gerne bei Kämpfen mit dem Element Drachen einsetzten. Aufgrund ihrer geringen Manakosten und ihrer Schnelligkeit, kann sie gut mit zum Sieg beitragen. Leider konnten sie in diesem Kampf nicht als Sieger vom Platz gehen.
