A Season Progress Report

A progress report, in process, that is...

I need to do a better job of keeping track of my season's data. I noticed this morning as I lost 10 matches in a row that a) I find highly irritating and b) I start throwing in whatever lineup I can when I get tired of losing. That in turn takes away from the game and focus; maybe a new KPI / progress report will help me improve my Splinterlands experience? Maybe?

After getting my lukewarm season rewards last night, I thought I'd start to document each day a bit better on Hive. Why not? Maybe it will be like me taking out all of my Splinterlands frustrations with a psychotherapist? Maybe I will find some Jungian value in those low dollar common cards that I keep winning?

So, after struggling mightily last night, I immediately dropped from league Silver I into Bronze III. I had to quit and take a break. This morning, I bounced back into Silver I after a few more losses to grab my first season reward as depicted above. My new chart looks as such:

'Tis the season to grind, I guess. While putting that chart together, I actually was more impressed that I remembered how to label Roman Numerals to the number 15. Once my x-axis labels were in place, I decided I'd track my winning percentage yet again over the course of the season with the same format.

See what I mean? The last time I was charting this my win percentage was over 55%; welp, no more! Look at that decline! I'm curious how much more of a decline I will manage this season...hey, I'll keep grinding, however.

On another note, I still continue to HODL both land and SPS. I've seen some future SPS price predictions in the $5-$10 USD range; how can I not HODL? I can't be an accountant forever, you know??

I'm thinking it might be a bourbon kind of night here for New Year's Eve (but beer definitely before that!)
