Hello guys, hope you all are well. I am back in this community after a very long time with a fanart of a Splinterlands character whose name Alric Stormbringer. I selected this character because it was giving me a magical vibes and it had my favorite color blue. I am trying to improve my art and I dedicated my whole day yesterday to make it and finally I made a very realistic character and I am very happy about it. Hope you will like this piece of art I made.

The Material I Used✨✨

Step By Step Procedure

I used local white paper to make this character's fan-art because I don't have a high quality sketchbook but now I've learned how to use poster colors on local paper. First I sketched his face with lead pencil and then sketched his beard. I had a bit of a hard time sketching both his hands but I finally sketched very well.

After making the half sketch I took some rest so that I could make the rest sketch properly. Now I sketched the magic stick that he is holding in one hand and then sketched the clothes which was pretty easy.

Now the sketch is complete and I completed it in about an hour. I'm glad I made a realistic sketch and I'm noticing that my art is getting better with time. Now I wanted to fill it with beautiful colors and I have use mostly poster colors and a few pencil colors in this fanart.

First I filled the magic stick 🪄 with black color and in the diamond which is attached with magical stick I filled green color. To make it more realistic I made white shades on some places with a fine painting brush. Then I made the purple fire in his other hand with pencil color which looks quite realistic.

As I mentioned above this is a magical person so I used a slate color to give his beard a unique color and to create a slate color I added very little blue in the white. I really like creating shades by mixing different colors and I think everyone likes it. Then I filled the brown color in the shoes and belt as in the original picture.

After filling the collar with dark yellow, I make two black stripes on the clothes. As the character is designed in the original picture I tried to design the same it so that it looks realistic. Then I started filling the poster blue color in the clothes because the clothes are mostly blue.

Now I made a shade of light brown color to paint his face and hands and I used both dark and light blue colors to make his clothes highlights well and it was a challenge for me to make the clothes realistic.

Now finally I outlined it with black pointer to make it look realistic and sophisticated. I tried my best to make it attractive and beautiful. Hope you liked this fanart of mine.

I think it's kind of complex and hard to draw at least for me. You have done it amazingly.
