Covid -19 pandemic disrupted a lot of matches last year that would've taken place in the world of boxing. Also 2021 is about to end and most coaches are trying to fix boxing matches that'll be remarkable and add more financial benefits to the sports. According to boxing analysts, if a match is arranged for Chris Eubank Jr and Ryota Morata, the year will end in a fascinating way.
According to Chris Eubank Jr:
The pandemic has put up a lot of barriers; there’s a lot of things that you need to get past to make fights happen, but I would go to Japan [if travel was permitted],” Eubank Jr said. “He has the belt, he’s the champ, and sometimes you’ve got to go to the champ’s backyard and take it from him. I’m no stranger to fighting in people’s backyards and being the bad guy. That would be fun. I’ve only seen [Murata] fight once or twice and he likes to scrap, he likes to stand there and trade. I’m also a fan of that style, so putting us together would make for a very fun fight. I see that fight being very explosive early on and I think I’d stop him between rounds six and eight.
This fight actually mean a lot to the WBA middleweight and to boxing fans all over the world.
Top Rank's Arum, who promotes Murata, told Sky Sports: "We are working very, very hard to put that fight together at the end of the year. We hope that the quarantine will have eased in Japan.
We are not only fighting to raise the money for the fight, but we are fighting the pandemic too.
With several marks in the WBA Super middleweight championship, Chris Eubank Jr fought last in October and a fight is being arranged for him and Ryota Murata in December. The biggest challenge facing the match is the Covid-19 quarantine in Japan. If it's eased in December, the fight will be possible.
