Splinterlands: Starting New Season with a Bang!

The new season of Splinterlands have started and to improve my chances to get into the Gold league of Foundations mode this time I have started playing regularly from Day 1.
I recently started playing Foundations so improving my card collection is the top priority. As I am low on liquidity the best option for me to level up my cards is to keep playing daily and picking up more and more reward cards.

I have now a good set of Common and Rare cards but what I need to build upon is picking up the Epic and Legendary cards which are more difficult to get.
I also lack Goldfoil cards which are very important to give a boost to your rewards.

I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled 1 Legendary, 1 Goldfoil and 1 Rare in a single reward set. Must be my lucky day.
What I am hoping for next is to pull a Rare or Epic Goldfoil card.
Next I plan to upgrade my summoners to the next level across all elements. I have Life, Earth and Fire summoners already levelled up.

A good thing about Foundations cards is that they can be played in Modern mode as well.
What I find a bit strange about them is that they have no Production value so can't be used in Land.
