Journal 4 - Losing Day, New Top Summoner
Summary
Today felt reeeeally bad. I only won 7 of 20 games. A lot of it was bad luck; getting put in situations for which I had no good cards and having opponents who spent more money on their cards.
We have a new Summoner in the top 10 combos. Quix the Devious now appears twice!
Money
My investment in gold cards paid off today with a total of 52 gold cards used in combat. I earned a total reward of 0.923 SPS.
Gameplay
My longest streak was a bad losing streak of 5 games. I had a bad overall ratings shift of -49 today. Blue was my lucky color today, as it was my most played. My most used card was Torrent Fiend, which I used a total of 9 times.

I have been working on an AI to help me research the best card combos. My AI can pick the winner of a battle 7.98% more accurately than a random guess. These are the best affordable combos according to my AI:

In business and games playing, the first thing that comes up at the back of my mind is this, I don't expect to gain pr win every. You got 7 out of 20, you tried and you can improve your chances of wining better next time.
Good point. I know I am getting better, but sometimes you get situations where you are just going to lose. And that's okay.

It seems interesting to note that Mylor appears on many lists, perhaps he will forever be (until something better comes along) the best counter for monsters with melee attacks, so far I haven't missed one regarding that.
It seems to be a good way to get a lot of cheap, free damage: Mylor for anti-melee, Failed Summoner for ani-magic, and Queen Mycelia to Amplify the damage of both while giving free armor.
