MULTI-ACCOUNT OR QUEST POTIONS?

When I started playing Splinterlands, we had access to extremely cheap quest potions. This made completing your daily quest fun and exciting. You were almost guaranteed to get a new card every day even playing in low bronze leagues.

No More Quest Potions!
Then, Potiongate happened. Splinterlands removed the option to purchase quest potions with credits. This made 1 potion the equivalent of $5-$7 instead of .75 cents. Needless to say, I quickly stopped using potions. I can afford $5 a day for any game.

This ground my account progress to a near halt. The reward card pool was nearly died up as well. I basically made a decision to not spend until Chaos Legion is here and my account could progress at a reasonable rate.

Here Come New Reward Cards**
With the introduction of new reward cards, it's now time to get back to seriously playing Splinterlands.

The reward card pool is as big as it will ever be and there's a 50% chance to pull a card. But 1 quest reward a day is still pretty slow and I'm not spending money on quest potions.

I also can't afford to rent 15K power every day to get a boost up to silver for more rewards.

How to Get More Quest Rewards
So I wanted a way to get more rewards every day as cheap as possible and someone on Reddit said "it would be cheaper and more effective to run 5 bronze accounts" than to buy potions for an entire month!

I don't know how I didn't think of this, but yeah he was right.

At current DEC prices, 1 potion a day for 30 days would cost $126 USD and you would get 150 bonus quest rewards.

1 new account costs $10 USD. If you stay in bronze you would get 30 rewards in one month. Add in 2 season rewards of 10 total rewards you end up with 40 quest rewards in one month.

So you would need 4 accounts to get 160 loot chests! That's a one-time cost of $40!!!

Yes, you have to play the accounts and win your 5 matches a day, but shouldn't be too hard. Plus this will stop me from playing on my main account while below 50% capture rate.

**
Is my Math Right?**
So does this make sense to anyone else? I decided to give it a test by buying 2 new accounts. So I just spent $20 and will receive 2 quest rewards a day for 10-15 mins of game time. It's also perfect timing since I'll get 5 season loot chests tomorrow as well!

You also get more DEC and SPS for the new accounts. Yeah, it's not a ton but still better than nothing.

It's also a one-time cost. Instead of $126 a month on potions, you pay the fee once and you're good to go. If you have spare time and like the game, this seems like a no-brainer to get more reward cards. If you don't have the time, Splinterlands developers basically encourage BOTS, so you could automate the accounts if you don't want to play them.

So I'll be tracking progress on my 10 accounts this month to see if multiple accounts are feasible. I'll be reporting back on October 26th.

Does Anyone Else Run Multiple Accounts?
Does anyone else run multiple accounts? Do you have any advice on the best way to handle it? I'd love to hear from you. Don't hesitate to reach out. A tool to track each account's daily quest would be very useful ♥
