Regal Peryton stats

You can see Regal Peryton stats as
following photo from splinterlands.

It is a 5 mana Earth unit card and has
magic attack 1, speed 5 and 6 health
in level 1 card.

ABILITY:

Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.

Usefulness of Regal Peryton in Earth unit.

I want to tell you the usefulness of
Regal Peryton as my experience. This
card is very useful in Earth unit.
Because REGAL Peryton can avoid the
enemy's Melee attack and Ranged
attack.

With which ability, the Ragel Peryton level 1 card is useless in battle!

There have a problem with Regal
Peryton level 1 card. Its level 1 card
has only 1 magic attack. Therefore,
Regal Peryton's attack is useless even
if it attacks an enemy monster with
Void ability.

VOID ABILITY
Reduced damage from Magic attacks.

My BATTLE with REGAL PERYTON

I want to show you my battle with
Regal Peryton. The enemy used life and
water unit the most in previous battle.
That is why I decided to use earth
magic attack monsters. You can see
my lineup as following photos.

My strategy

I think the enemy may use melee and
ranged attack. So I use OBSIDIAN as
summoner.

And I used VENARI KNIFER
for first position. VENARI has thorns
ability when melee or ranged attack
to Venari the damage back to
attackers.

I used second position for
Goblin Thief. It can attack from any
position because its ability.

I used Goblin Psychic for third position.
I want my first position monster to
stand and fight for last long. So it can
heal to my first position monster
because its ability.

I used Khmer Princess for fourth
position. Because I used OBSIDIAN
for as my summoner. So my all magic
monsters will received +1 magic
attack. Khmer Princess has 1 magic
attack. This card mana cost is only 2.
It is very good.

I used REGAL PERYTON for fifth
position. It has flying ability. So this
monster can avoid the enemy melee
attack and ranged attack.

THE BATTLE

My strategy worked well. Because the
enemy used water as I prediction. And
REGAL PERYTON dodged Enemy's
deadly attack twice in round 2. That
was one of the factors that made this
battle possible.

I will try to use REGAL PERYTON level 3
card in future battle. However I have to
buy OBSIDIAN level 3 card. So I will
try step by step.
