Is Crypto Legit?

It’s obviously been around for a long time. There is money to be made out of it, just not easy money like we saw in 2020-2022.
Crypto right now it’s pretty though. IMO u really need to know what you are doing in terms of trading if you wish to invest. I wouldn’t buy and hold unless it’s a trivial amount that I don’t expect to cash within the next few years.
Everything we know about crypto, imo, everything we’ve seen and read online, again imo, its been BS. People sell you random stuff no factual information just a bunch of dudes shilling you their coins for their own profits.
Blockchain technology, now that’s a different thing.
If you believe and want to be a pioneer in this space than invest in companies that focus on blockchain tech, don’t buy their crypto buy their stocks. Like COIN for example.
They have the trading platform, but they also have internal departments well funded that focus on integrating blockchain tech into everyday life. But it’s gonna take a while.

There’s two ways to go about it:
You read about it before you invest as if you were taking financial investment studies.
You don’t read anything and you learn as you go. This option, however is very expensive. Since this is where most mistakes happen and you lose real money.

And for my two cents about crypto being a scam as discussed above, I want everyone to think about this: How many scams and frauds were commited with traditional currency? How many crooks and criminals used fiat currency to commit money laundring and worse crimes?
The premise that crypto is a forefront for crime and scams is completely close minded.
And you can say: "But the difference is that in crypto the crook gets away with it."
Haven't a lot of crooks escaped justice through the years with all the fraud and scams made with traditional currency?
It's money..
USD, EUR, BTC, ETH, ADA, DOT
=
Money
And where's money, there will be fraud and scams..
