On this #Splinterlands Battle with the Noxious Fumes and Earthquake Rulesets, I had a very close call against an opponent who used 4 (mostly upgraded) Legendary Monsters against me. 😅
Using Brighton Bloom in battles with Earthquake helps a lot! 😎

It's a really hard game. Sometimes I come up with new strategies, but there's always someone constantly beating me. 😂😂😂😂

And that makes the game sometimes exciting (for the challenge, and for the thrill to see who will win the battle), and sometimes frustrating (usually after a long losing streak), but the game is mostly enjoyable, fun, entertaining, and when you get a good reward card (either as a daily quest reward, or as a season end reward, and sometimes even as a gift/giveaway from someone), then that compensates for the frustrations. So I would gladly recommend this game.
I've been looking at Brighten Bloom. But while I don't have him, if mana allows, I just stack armor or hp and try to outlive the opponent. With the noxious(?) fumes I stack health and just try to outlive opponent. haha. Staying in Bronze 1 for now.

Do you mean Brighton Bloom (with an
oinstead ofebetweentandn)? 🤔 The Battle Ruleset does have Noxious Fumes (where all Monsters - except those with the Immunity ability - start the Battle with the Poison status, but where the Poison can be removed when the Monster is Cleansed or Resurrected). 🤓On the battle where the Ruleset has both Earthquake and Noxious Fumes, using Brighton Bloom as my Summoner allows me to focus on choosing Monsters with high Health. 😎

What if we loose a battle? Will we loose cards as well?
I am unware of game.
The only thing you lose is your rating.
What will happen if we loose rating?
Nothing, your rating just goes down with losses, and up with wins.
You get daily rewards for completing your quest (more rewards for higher brackets)
You get DEC per win for brackets Bronze 2 and up (more with higher rating)
You get rewards chests at the end of the season, based on what bracket you end in.

You can try playing #Splinterlands without spending the required $10 for the Summoner's Spellbook which will allow you to earn DEC (Splinterlands's in-game tokens) per Ranked Battle Win and own Cards. That's better than looking for tutorials on how to play Splinterlands before you actually try playing the game.

If you lose Rating, you get less DEC reward per Ranked Battle Win, and if gets low enough, you will drop to a lower League (which means even less DEC reward).

The best "link" I could send you for you to learn #Splinterlands is to actually play its in-game tutorial. If you do want to play, you should use another player's referral link, so that your referrer will earn 5% of all your CREDITS and Card Pack purchases for life.

Only 2 flyers, and they both went right in front haha. Strange setup.
I usually use Vera Salacia for Earthquake battles, so I can take away my opponent's flying :-)
I understand that Vera Selacia is a great Summoner against opponent flying Monsters, but it also means that my Monsters will get damaged from the Earthquake, unless I manage to choose all flying Monsters. 🤓

Very true!
One thing that's nice about Earthquake is that it does hit armor (unlike Poison), so using someone with repair can help with that as well.
And, of course, anything with Scavenger does very well in a rule-set where lots of monsters are dieing :-)

The maximum amount of Health that can be obtained by a Monster with the Scavenger Ability before the Battle ends is 10, unless the Resurrect Ability triggers at least once on a Monster during a battle, by which the Scavenge Ability triggers again when a Resurrected Monster gets defeated again. 🤓

That's quite true as well. Depending on the mana limit, and what splinters are available, I'll often use MImosa Nightshade for poison rounds as well, to turn off my opponent's healing.
That Mimosa Nightshade lineup quickly defeats @savvyplayer's Level 3+ Flesh Golem and Wood Nymph lineup. 😅
