Another Season Leaderboard Secured

Hello, there! @saydie here, playing Splinterlands everyday!
I've been playing more games this season, and what I mean by that is that recently, I also came back to playing Survival Mode again after a long time of pause. This was to help provide data for bringing survival back in Modern, and so far, I am doing quite well playing there, and it seems that the team has been tweaking Bracket 4 to make it easier for players to play. Still, I think that they should also tweak the bracket so that only modern cards can be used by both players and the liquidity bots. Cause how does both players and bots playing wild cards provide good data to test their viability in modern. Liquidity bots may be able to become competitive while playing using both modern and wild cards, but what will happen once the wild cards are suddenly removed from their deck? I also don't recall the approved proposal to include bringing brackets into Wild format, so what gives?
Anyway, modern ranked season 97 has just concluded, and just like the season prior to it, I will say that this season was another easy one. I was able to reach Champion I, and though I was not able to maintain my rating, I was still able to secure another leaderboard position last season.

Modern Format Season 96 Splinterlands Report
| Statistic | ![]() Modern Ranked Champion |
|---|---|
| Leaderboard Rank | 70- Champion II |
| Rating | 4,240 |
| Total Battles | 452 |
| Total Wins | 228 |
| Win Rate | 50.44% |
| Longest Streak | 7 |
| Leaderboard Reward |
For modern ranked season 96, I was able to stay in the top 100 of the Champion leaderboard, taking 70th place, giving me an additional 100k Glint. This will also be the 10th straight time that I have been able to secure a spot in the leaderboard.
Overall, I played a total of 452 battles, of which I won 228 of them, giving me a 50.44% win rate. I reached Champion I, but I was not able to hold it, though I'm fine as long as I secure the 100k Glint, and I still had 2 chances to get league advancement rewards.

| Staking Rewards | 28.608 SPS |
|---|---|
| Ranked Rewards | 3,639.893 SPS - Modern |
| Brawl Rewards | 67.502 SPS |
| Tournament Prize | 1,095 SPS - DEC |
| Total | 4,831.003 SPS - DEC |
Looking at my previous season report, the total SPS that I won last season is not the best, but it was also not bad. And if you were asking for the reason for the drop, that was mainly due to my SPS bids not getting filled, giving me a lower reward multiplier for most of the season.
And with that, I have earned a total of 4,831.003 SPS or about 14.88 $ combined at its current price.
| MERITS Brawl prizes | |
|---|---|
| MERITS Draw Reward | |
| VOUCHER | 1.693 |
| Fortune Entry | 415 |
When it comes to brawls, I think I missed a brawl last season, looking at my brawl SPS and Merits prize, where I only earned 10,467 Merits. But add the 17,833 Merits that I got on chests, then I have a total of 28,300 Merits, which is enough to buy me 14 Gladius packs. My fortune entries, on the other hand, had a combined number of 415, which is not that huge, but also not a small number. The good news is that I was finally able to win my very first Black Foil Legendary unit. The mint # 10 Skrag the Gnaw.

| Glint Ranked | |
|---|---|
| Glint Season | |
| Suvival | |
| Reward | |
| Total Glint Earned |
As for my Glint earnings, I almost earned over 600k Glint last season, even though my reward multiplier is not that great. I guess this is due to my frequent use of promo and black foil cards whenever I can.
| SPS Rental | 2,820.506 DEC |
|---|---|
| Card Rental | 27,324.080 DEC |
| Tournament Fees | 2,000 DEC |
| Fortune Pass | 250 DEC |
| Total Cost | 32,394.586 DEC |
| Glint Purchase |
As for my DEC rental cost, my total expenses this season were 32,394.586 DEC or about $ 8.26$. It was lower compared to the prior season, since I tried to cut costs on my card rental. Deducting that from my SPS earnings, I got 6.62$.

CA Reward and Extra Set Progress
Using the site splinterhub.com, I was able to monitor the progress of my reward cards. And for this season, I finally completed 79% of my common cards from the previous 85%, with two of my common cards already at max level. Hopefully, I will also be able to max those level 9s this current season. My rare collection, on the other hand, has just reached 68% completion and has slightly progressed to 25%. Meanwhile, my legendary collection has progressed significantly, as it is now at 20% completion.

As for my Extra collection, nothing much has changed aside from me getting another 4 BCX of Shadowcomb Duskrose.

Closing
And that was it for the last season's recap. There was really nothing much that I could say, since the price of the token is at its lowest, which may scare any potential players that will like to come to the game.
Thank you, and see you on the next post!
