Hello there! @saydie here, playing Splinterlands everyday!

Rila Fen.png

It was more or less about 2 days left before the end of this season, and as the new season comes, the Splinterlands' Winterfest event will finally start, which will last a week prior to and after December 31st. I was planning to make a post about that tomorrow, along with some other updates that were made to the game, but before that, I want to proceed with my Conclave Arcana rewards review, since it keeps getting pushed over by the new updates, so I want to be done with it before the new year ends.

So far, I have already tackled both Water, Fire, and Earth rewards, so this time, I want to take a look at the Conclave Arcana Life rewards, which consist of 2 commons, 2 rares, 1 epic, and 2 legendary units.

Conclave Arcana Life Reward Cards

The Conclave Arcana Life rewards have been spread out among different bloodlines, and finally, there are some Ulund units among the rewards, which can synergize with Bella Ratajowlski as well as the upcoming Legendary Archon, Captain Frankie, and the abilities and attack types of each card were spread out, making each card have their own spot in each battle.

Common Earth Rewards:

5-Life.png Palimpsest Prophet 5-Life.png

Palimpsest Prophet is a melee Life unit with the Djinn bloodline. For 3 mana, it has the Bloodline Tribute ability, which will increase the stats of allied cards with the same bloodline, making it a wonderful card, and this card can also attack in any position with Charge. For its mana cost, it also has a very decent stats, particularly its 5 armor, making it also a great card to use with Elias Max Pruitt during low mana melee battles, and is also very capable card to give the Armored Strike ability.

5-Life.png Phlegmor 5-Life.png

On the other hand, Phlegmor is another melee card with 4 mana, that this time, can attack backline units with Sneak. It also has decent stats, supported by its Strengthen and Protect abilities, which will also synergize well with Elias Max Pruitt. At the same time, being a divine construct, this card brings more value to Eleanor Bravefoot by giving it +1 range damage due to the effects of Blasphemy of Uul.

Rare Earth Rewards:

5-Life.png Pixie-knife Hurler 5-Life.png

Now, we're moving with the rare units, starting with Pixie-knife Hurler, which is an Ulund Card and can gain Shield ability when used together with Bella Ratajowlski. For a 7 mana range unit, it was packed with a lot of abilities, especially the Heal ability that allows it to sustain the damage it receives, and even though it was a range unit, it can still attack even at the first position with the help of Close Range ability.

5-Life.png Saltwraith Bulkhead 5-Life.png

Saltwraith Bulkhead is another 7 mana card, but this time, it has melee for damage. On its own, it can be a good tank, with a max health of 11 and max armor of 6, that can also use its armor to attack using Armored Strike along with its 6 damage. The problem is that it has the Weary debilitation unless you have Elias Max Pruitt and use it along Wailsworn Spectre with its Invigorate, so that the effects of Weary become disabled.

Epic Water Rewards:

5-Life.png Rila Fen 5-Life.png

For the only Epic Life reward, we have the magic unit Rila Fen, which I think was the best among the epic rewards, and was also in my top 5 rewards. It has the Tank Heal ability, which it can activate twice thanks to the effects of Echo, and the Final Rest is a direct counter against Ulund Bloodline Tribute teams or any card with abilities that trigger when the opponent dies.

Legendary Earth Rewards:

5-Life.png Halo Wisp 5-Life.png

Halo Wisp is a pretty amazing card for only 4 mana cost. It was a range unit with 3 range damage, which might not seem that impressive at first, and it also attacks the opponent's backline. But it also has the Armored Strike ability, so it can use its 7 armor as another attack, especially now that Armored Strike is considered a melee attack and can now be used for sneak attack. The only downside of this card is that it is very slow, so either you play it on Reverse Speed ruleset or use it along with cards with Pinpoint ability, just like the last life rewards.

5-Life.png Nessa 5-Life.png

And now, we finally go through the last card Nessa, which is another excellent reward card with the Pinpoint ability, which will be great to give Halo Wisp the true strike attack when attacking using Sneak. At the same time, being a magic unit with True Strike means that its attack will not miss, even against cards with Phase, not to mention the combination of Relentless and Execute is a good pair that can ensure that its target will receive additional damage when the target has Void, Shield, or Forcefield, as well as the ability to attack again if the opponent only has 2 or less health after a successful attack.

Pinpoint -Allied sneak attacks can not miss.

Closing

And that was it for my early assessment of the Conclave Arcana Life rewards. Gradually, I was able to upgrade these cards to levels where I can already use them competitively in battle within the league where I play, but it's still far before I can play them at max level and use them at their full potential.

Thank you, and see you on the next post!
