Escalation Promo Cards

In less than five days, the much-awaited presale of Conclave Arcana's mini-set, Escalation, will finally take place, which will bring us a new batch of cards, along with a new set of abilities that will form never-before-seen synergies and shake up the game's meta.
So, as we wait for the presale date, I wanted to take a look at the Escalation promo cards to know if they will be cards that will be really needed to get to the top of the game, and if they will be fun to use in battle.
Escalation Promo Cards
The presale period for escalation will start on February 10th, which is less than 5 days from now, and will last for two weeks. After that, the general sale follows, starting February 24th, but if you were thinking of waiting until the presale period to buy the set, think again, because you might miss out on the presale rewards, and there is always a chance that it will sell out even before the presale period ends. After all, there will only be 550,000 standard packs that will be available for this sale.
Anyway, what comes in the Escalation set are 43 new cards, consisting of 12 Commons, 12 Rares, 8 Epics, and 11 legendaries. Aside from that, Escalation will also come with 6 legendary Archons and 2 promo cards that will come as a bonus if you buy during the presale period. And these promo cards were:
Doldrus
Doldrus is a 4-mana dual-element unit with both Death and Earth attributes, as well as the Tortisian Bloodline, but its bloodline did not matter much because it has the Shapeshift ability, allowing it to be considered as any bloodline, and be able to be used by any Archon that has the Bloodline Dominion, where it will also benefit from any abilities or stats that Archon gives. At max level if has a total of 4 armor, 7 health, and 3 speed, which makes it a decent tank, and though it does not have an attack, you can always use a unit with Weapons Training to give attack to this card.

Aside from Shapeshift, Doldrus also has Cleanse, which will allow it to remove the negative status on the first position unit, as well as the Deflection Shroud ability that gives the Deflect ability to units adjacent to this card. At the same time, it has the Corrupted Healing ability that can heal all ally cards up to 70% of their health and loses 1 max health each time it is healed. But it also has one of the new abilities called Flame Fed that will allow this card to gain +1 health when Burning. This card will certainly be a must-have when playing under the Global Warming modifier.
Portia Nyr
On the other hand, Portia Nyr was a legendary Neutral unit, with human Bloodline. Just like Doldrus, Portia Nyr also has the Shapeshift ability that will allow it to benefit from the stats and abilities of any Archon with Bloodline Dominion. At max level, this card has 6 health, 3 speed, and 4 magic damage, all for the cost of 8 mana.
For its other abilities, it has Painforge, which gives it +1 power whenever it gets damaged from burning and when hit by an ally, along with Immunity that makes it immune to most negative debuffs. But its other two abilities will certainly be difficult to deal with when you are on the opposite side of the battle, given that it has the Relentless Strike that deals true damage +1 to units with Void, Shield, or Forcefield, as well as the new ability Apex Strike that will target the enemy unit with the most damage. It was like Wing Break, but instead of targeting units with Flying, it focuses on the attack of the opponent, and worst, it may just be able to ignore Taunt.
Closing
The new promo cards from Escalation are certainly a very interesting addition in the modern ranked battle, and given that these cards have Shapeshift ability, I think that the team will further double down on more Bloodline mechanics in the future set and card release.
