Last Season Has My Highest All-time Rating
Last season, I achieved my all-time highest rating in Modern ranked battle, scoring a total rating of 4,760, about 460 rating points higher than what was required to be in Champion I. At the same time, this also marks my 15th consecutive leaderboard streak, as I placed at ranked 59 of the leaderboard last season. That was despite me probably having the weakest deck among all the leaderboard players, with only about 30 non-reward and extra cards in my deck that I can use in ranked battle.
I do not know why that was the case, given that those players who are way below me in ranking have way more cards to use than I do, and some even have scholar accounts with most, if not all, of the cards. Regardless, I was quite happy that I reached a new rating milestone in my account, but whether that will also reflect on my earnings or not is what I will look into this post.

For modern ranked season 102, I was able to stay in the top 100 of the Champion leaderboard, this time securing the 59th spot. As a result, I was rewarded with an additional 100k Glint aside from my ranked and season rewards. Despite that, I only played a total of 409 battles, of which I won 223 at a 54.52% win rate.

With that, I earned a total of 3,896.95 SPS or about $ 13.75, which was mostly from ranked battles. I could have earned more if I had just continued playing more battles towards the end of the season, but I stopped just so that I could maintain my rating and secure my leaderboard spot. I also missed some brawls and tournaments, that have also resulted in much lower earnings, which I plan to fix this season.

Since I missed a lot of brawls, that also means that I earned fewer Merits. Last season, I only earned 5,000 Merits from brawls, but because I opened a ton of Chests, I was able to gain another 24,475 Merits for a total of 29,475 Merits.
What's really unfortunate, though, is that even when I had more Fortune Entries last season, I did not win any premium cards. And now, there are only about 8 draws that is remaining, which makes me doubtful whether I still have a chance to win some premium cards.

When it comes to Glint, the total Glint that I earned last season was 727,860 by just playing modern ranked and the reward I got from the leaderboard. Right now, I still have over 400k Glint, which I can use to buy more chests, but I am timing it when my Energy bars are close to empty.

As for my DEC expenses, my total expenses last season were 29,195.246 DEC or about $ 10.21 at the current price, which leaves me with $ 3.54 of earnings. It was quite a low earning, but still it was better than me getting into the negative.
CA Reward and Extra Set Progress
Using the site splinterhub.com, I was able to monitor the progress of my reward cards. I am very close to maxing all my common reward cards, which are currently at 98% completion. Honestly, I am very eager to finally max them all, so I hope that the RNG Goddess get along with me this season. Meanwhile, my rare rewards are currently at 85% completion, which means they are still quite far from being fully maxed.
On the other hand, both my Epic and Legendary rewards have barely even moved from their previous level of progress, as it remains at 36% and 19% completion. Right now, I am still missing 2 Legendary reward cards.
As for my Extra collection, the biggest change is that I finally got my hands on Grix, which is one of the best low-mana support cards in the game when using bloodline cards. I am still unsure whether I should sell it or not since it currently has no use for me.
Closing
Although playing ranked battle was still profitable, I really should focus on participating in all my brawls and tournaments that I joined in order to maximize my earnings. And since the Fortune Draws for the reward cards are nearing their end, I am thinking about whether I should increase the SPS that I am renting so that I will have more Fortune Entries for the upcoming draws.
