Lyra & Lorn's New Voucher Card: Cloveria Morth'lana

It's been a week already since the new Voucher card became available in the Voucher Shop. This card is the 3rd Voucher card for the Conclave Arcana set and the 6th Voucher card to be sold in the shop, ever since they became the main utility for Vouchers, as they were removed as a discount for packs or an alternative entry fee for wild pass. And whenever a new Voucher card is released, the first question that comes in my mind is whether they will make us Voucher deflationary or not, so that will be what I will try to figure out in this post.

Cloveria Morth'lana is a 7-mana epic Life unit, with the Elf Bloodline. For those who haven't noticed it yet, the card was inspired by one of the early Splinterlands OG player clove71, who has continued to support the game.
As a card, though, she doesn't boast much in terms of health, for even at max level, it only has 3 health, and neither does it have any armor. But it has the Camouflage ability that could hide it from any opportunity attack, so long as it was not in the first position. It was also quite fast with a max of 4 speed and can inflict up to 4 range damage, but because of Recharge, it can only attack every 2 rounds at 3x of its damage and can attack twice each round with Double Strike. What's interesting, though was it also has the Ambush ability that, when partnered with Recharge, will allow the card to attack in the first round.
I would not call it a bad card, but to get the most out of it, I think it's best to have this card at max level, where it can get its Double Strike.
Similar to the previous Voucher cards Cloveria Morth'lana will remain on the Voucher shop for about 90 days, but aside from that, there will also be a Gold Foil Arcane Fortune Draw, which will start on February 17, and last for 10 days, as well as a Black Foil Arcane Auction, which will start on March 13, and will last for 5 days.
General Voucher Sale
During the general sale, each copy of Cloveria Morth'lana will cost 250 Vouchers, with 2% Gold Foil drop rate and a Black Foil drop rate of 1 in every 4,000 BCX. The chances of getting Gold foils can be doubled by using 8 Alchemy potions in each card, with a guaranteed odds of 1 Gold foil in 25 cards, while for Black Foil, the chances can be doubled by using 8 Midnight potions in each card.
As of the writing of this post, 250 Vouchers are equivalent to 8,924.223, so you should take it into consideration if you do not have enough Vouchers.
Gold Foil Arcane Fortune Draw
In this method, you cannot directly buy the card using Vouchers, but rather, players will need to craft or purchase Fortune Tickets that require 200 Aura, 10 Vouchers, and 200 DEC for each ticket. It takes 10 Fortune Draw tickets to get yourself an entry, which, even if you do not win, gives a guaranteed copy of the card, which also has a chance to turn Gold Foil.
Each Fortune Draw event runs exclusively for 26 hours, with the next event commencing 27 hours after the previous one begins — ensuring a one-hour interval between events, with a total of 10 Gold Foil Arcane Cards to be won.
Looking at the current price of the Fortune Tickets, a player will need 8,861.780 DEC for 10 Fortune Tickets, which makes it a little cheaper than the voucher needed to buy the card at the general sale, but the price may go higher or lower depending on the supply of the Fortune Tickets, so if you wish to try your luck in Gold Foil Arcane, now might be your best chance to do it.
Black Foil Arcane Auction
If you think that you do not have the luck to win in the Fortune Draw event, but still want to get the rarest, most premium version of the card, there is also the Black Foil Arcane Draw, where players can just bid for the card. Just like the Fortune Draw, you cannot directly participate in the bidding with just Vouchers, and you need to have Auction Marks, which is the bidding currency used for the event, and can be crafted using 1000 Aura, 50 Vouchers, and 500 DEC. Just be prepared because there will only be 5 Black Foil Arcane Cloveria Morth'lana that will be minted in the event, with only a 28-hour duration, unless it gets extended when a new bid is made for up to 1 hour extension.
As for the price of Auction Marks, the cheapest in the market was priced at about 2,762.702 DEC or $ 1.95, but it is more likely that land whales, which can produce the resources needed for crafting Auction Marks, will be the ones that will compete for the card.
Closing
And that was it for Cloveria Morth'lana. At the very least, I think this was an interesting card, and I like the idea of some OG splinterlands players getting a card based on them, but I do not think that it will be enough for this card. For one, it was a card with very low health and was not a dual-element unit, which limits its utility. Even now, I haven't faced the card used a single time, nor have I seen it used in any of the top battles.
