March 2025 HPUD & Splinterlands Season 153 Report

With the start of a new month means that it is once again time for another Hive Power Up Day where every one was encourage to increase their Hive staked. Increasing Hive staked not only helps to increase curation rewards but also gives us more say in the governance of the chain when it comes to proposals. Since September last year, I've been participating on HPUD and this month will mark as my 8^th consecutive participation. My goal is to have a complete participation for the entire 2025 without undergoing any power down.

Before I initiated the power up, I already have 2,390.426 HP staked into my account. Looking at my February HPUD post, I was able to increased my Hive stake by 232.27 HP on the month of February through a combination of Power up as well as author and curation rewards rewards. and for today's power up, I added another 50 HP so as for the creation of this post, I have a total of 2,440.427 HP in my account.

Furthermore, I was also able to stake at least 1 Hive through the entire month of February to complete the February HPUM which is my 4^th consecutive month. As you can see, there are two days in the calendar with a different icon and that was because those were days that I also have my post set to be 100% power up.

Season 66 Splinterlands Report

Aside for my power up, I also want to share my performance for the season 66 of Splinterlands modern ranked. The month of February have lesser days and with the addition of the Survival mode, season 66 was cut short by a day so my earning for this season was also lower. Anyways, here are my season 66 performance.

I was trying to reach champion 2 last season but with the season shorter, also means that I have less battles and due to the update on the teem selection UI, it takes a while before I get used on it, resulting from a few loss so this season, I only ended at champion 3 rating.

On the other hand, I need to spend 9,111.592 DEC or about $ 6.68 for renting SPS and cards as well as my entry fee for tournaments so deducting my expenses to my earnings, I was left with $ 7.12 in earnings. Glint purchase was mainly spent in buying card draws and major chest.

As of the writing of this post, I have my common soulbound rewards at 99% completion and by using my Glint for some common Draw and major chest, it is possible that I will be able to finally complete my common cards this season so that I can now focus on my rare rewards which are still at 72% completion.

And with that, I have completed my first power up for this month. My overall goal for this year is to achieve at least 3.5k HP and with today's power up, I'm just 1059.573 HP short of my goal. With 10 months remaining, that goal was not an impossible task to achieve.
