New Land Crafted Cards For Battles

It hasn't been long since Land cards were introduced to the game. These Land cards that were crafted using different Land resource, along with a new type of token called Cinder, which can be obtained by burning either Splinterlands or Soulkeep cards. However, the first batch of Land crafted cards can only be used to provide different production boost on Land, defending on the card that was minted. So if you were not big into the Land gameplay, those cards may not interest you. But this time, I'm sure that these next batch of Land crafted card will pick your interest since you can use this card in ranked battles.
In this post, I want to talk about the upcoming Land craftable cards that will soon to arrive in the battlefields of Praetoria.
New Craftable Cards
Starting March 31, a new batch of land craftable cards using Cinder and land- produced resources will be available, but unlike the previous batch that can only be used for land, the new batch of cards can be used in battles. They will be under the Concalave Arcana Extra Set, same as the jackpot cards and Arena Fanatic, but will have their own Icon and will be marked as "Crafted". There will be two new cards that both have the common rarity, so to max each of them, one will need to have at least 400 BCX of the card.
A week from now, there will be a snapshot that will determine the craftable allocation rights for each of the lands owners. These allocation rights are like reservation slots, so that players can have a head start in crafting the cards, since there is a cap on the amount of cards that will be available for crafting.
Anyway, here are the two new land craftable cards.
Thessok Hunter
Thessok Hunter is a 7-mana fire unit with the Saurian Bloodline, which at max level has a total of 8 health, 5 speed, and 4 damage. It does not have an armor, neither any abilities that will reduce the damage inflicted on this card, so it was not that suitable as a tank, unless you also uses a card with Taunt to absorbed the damage or you put a card with either Phase Ward or Shield Ward to reduce the potential damage of this card. Otherwise, there are far better tanks that were available with the same mana cost.
In terms of abilities, it has Piercing that will inflict the excess damage to the health of the target that with Ambush, will allow the card to attack even before the start of the first round. It also has two of the new abilities introduced in Escalation which were the Apex Strike that will target the enemy unit with the most damage, as well as Bloodline Pact that will give units that share the same bloodline with this card an additional damage, when any of them defeats an opponent unit, but will lose the effects when this card was defeated and will inflict 1 true damage to all the cards with the same bloodline. I am still not familiar with how Apex Strike works, but if its like Wingbreak, this card may be able to attack regardless the position.
To craft a copy of Thessok Hunter, you will need 2000 Stone and 187.5 Cinder.
Ghostly Blacksmith
On the Other hand, Ghostly Blacksmith was an Undead Earth unit that cost 4- mana to use. For a max level card, it has a max stats of 8 health, 5 Speed and 3 magic damage. Since it was a magic unit, it can be placed anywhere in your lineup and as a card, it can gain Deflection through Bloodline Dominion, when used along with the Fire Archon Hanv.
In terms of ability, it has the Incendiary debilitation, which may make you scared since it will inflict 2 damage on this card and may also infect your allied cards, but if you maxed this card, it will gain the Flame Fed ability that will allow it to gain 1 health instead when it has Burning debilitation. Aside from that, this card also had the Reveal ability, that will show cards that are in Camouflage, along with Rust that will reduce the armor of all opponent units as long as this card remains in play. This card also has the Shadow Focus ability that will give this card the Camouflage ability when it was the last card in your team together with the +1 damage to be given on your allied units and the Determined ability that will allow cards to attack again if they miss their first attack. The only downside for this ability though is that the card with this ability cannot attack unless it was not in the last position.
To craft a copy of Ghostly Blacksmith, you will need 450 Iron and 187.5 Cinder.
If you want to, you can also mint skins for each of the land cards, though you need to be fast, since their supply was quite limited. There are two types of cards skins that a player can mint. The Famed Skin with 100 skins for each card, and the fabled skin that has only 10 supply for each card. Each skin has the following crafting cost.

Craftable Supply and End of Mint Fortune Draw
For each of the card, there will be a total of 63,000 BCX of regular foil cards that can be minted, with 60,000 BCX for crafting, and the other 3,000 BCX allocated for the team treasure chest that will be used in the future to create unique prize pools and fresh incentives for our community.

At the end of the mint period, there will be an End of Mint Fortune Draw, where pre-minted premium cards will be distributed to players through a non-transferable entry, equivalent to the number of cards that a player minted. This includes Gold foil, Black Foil, and Arcane versions of the card.

And that was it for the upcoming Land cards. It is quite exciting to have cards that were usable in ranked battles that were mainly crafted through Land, as they provide more utility to it, and at the same time, we also reduce the excess of old cards by burning them into Cinder. And this was all made by the team without them gaining anything from it.
