No Longshot This Time

I thought it was impossible. I thought it would no longer happen. I had already given up on it. But we've made it, boys! After 28 draws, the goddess of RNG has finally smiled on me as I won one of the premium foil reward cards for Conclave Arcana. Ever since the release of Conclave Arcana, luck has never been on my side, whether when I tried opening packs or participating in Frontier mode, and premium cards have remained elusive for my main account for a long time, while my alt account, with far fewer entries, was able to win a card.
And its not as if I had an easy win too. After all, there are a total of 281,726 entries that were entered during the last draw, while I only had 242 entries that gives me about 0.086 chance of winning.
Anyway, the card that I won in the last draw was the mint 119 of the melee death unit, Grim Bonewhip. I already have the mint 34 of the same card, but won't complain on having more.
Grim Bonewhip
**Grim Bonewhip **is a 5-mana card with the Death attribute and are of the common rarity. It is a melee unit with a maximum of 3 damage, along with 3 speed, and 6 health which does not make it beefy as a tank since its not. It was meant to be placed at the second position where it could attack with Reach.
Aside from that, Grim Bonewhip also has both the Rust at level 3 and Swiftness at level 5. Two support abilities that will reduce the armor of the opponent team, while boosting the speed of the allied team, and will remain active as long as this card remains in the battle. For its last ability, Grim Bonewhip has the Execute ability that will allow it to perform a second attack if its first attack landed and the opponent only has 2 or less health.
For its Bloodline, it was a Dwarf, so while it is a Death element unit, we can use the Fire Archon, Fithe Bladestone to summon this card where it gains the Void ability, allowing it to get reduced damage from magic attacks. Not to mention, dual element Archons with Death element attribute such as Cryptic and Lorkus.
Battle Showcase
For the very first battle of my second Grim Bonewhip, I had a battle with only Death and Dragon are the only elements that can be used. I decided to use the Dragon, Archon Akane, since Dragon Archons gives the flexibility of being able to summon units from other elements, making it possible to summon Death units, while it also gives either the Ambush or Lookout ability through tactics.
I decided to give the Ambush ability to Dragon Egg Forager and Venka the Vile, since they had the highest attack damage within my lineup, Grim Bonewhip was placed on the second position to effectively use its Reach ability, and be able to attack, while its Rust ability has helped in order to reduce the armor of the enemy tank.
During the Ambush Round, Venka the Vile has reduce the health of Anyu Huntswoman to 5, while Dragon Egg Forager has defeated Grifzi, which has resulted for it and Baron Fyatt to both get poisoned trough Poison Busrt. Baron Fyatt was also able to attack since it had Ambush as one of its abilities, which as a result turned the damage of the opponent's Dragon Egg Forager to 1.
At the end of round 1, the opponent team only has 3 units remaining, meanwhile my team is still perfectly intact, though 3 of my units were poisoned that has resulted for most of the damage that my team gets.
Round 2 is where the battle concluded. Grim Bonewhip did not end up defeating any of the opponent units, but its support abilities has definitely helped the team to win the battle.
Closing
But most of all, the main reason why I want to use Grim Bonewhip whenever I can is because of the 20% bonus it gives in every battle that I win. Since I already have a copy of this card, I have now posted the other copy with the lower mint number in the market for sale. Though depending on the situation, I would pull it out of the market and use it on my alt account. I am also selling my black foil Groove Doomblade since I almost had enough copies across my accounts to have a max regular copy of it. Just need to get some more Rare unbinding scrolls or buy if using the proceeds from selling the cards.
