Organize Your Collection With Collector Binders

Hello, there! @saydie here, playing Splinterlands everyday!
For the past week, I've been busy doing IRL stuff, so I was not able to write a post, even though the topics I want to write about keep on filling up. Add to that the various issues I had with Hive. Like yesterday, many of the Hive nodes had been down that has even affected Claiming reward card prizes rom the for last week's Fortune Draw, and until recently, I was unable to log in to Peakd. But everything now seems to be resolve and I finally have some spare time to write since it was weekend.
Anyway, what I want to talk about in this post was one of the recent Splinterlands update, which is the Collector Binders, giving players a new way to display, organize, and personalize their cards.

Collector Binders

The concept of Collector Binders was not an entirely new thing. They have been present on traditional card games long before, and I even used to have a binder holding on my Yu-Gi-Oh! collection. And until now, I think this to be one of the simplest and best way to organize card collections, so this feature finally coming to Splinterlands is a great thing, so that players will have more avenues to organize their cards and customize their binder display, with stickers and public card notes. Also, players will be able to view binders that belong to other players, so players will be encourage to put more effort in organizing their binders.
To organize your own Collector Binder, click on the Collect Icon and this will immediately put transfer you to the collector page.

There, you will be given a free binder, that is also available for lite accounts. This comes with 3 pages, with each page can hold up to 9 cards, along with some exclusive stickers that players my get defending on their duration in the game and the other events that they participated.

As you can see above, I made my Collector Binder to only showcase black foil cards, so I simply named my Binder "Black Foil", and choose an all black design or my binder to match the cards that I have. It does not matter whether the cards in the binder where delegated, in rental, on land or on a wagon. As long as you owned it, you can perfectly display the card in the binder the way you want.

To add cards in your Binder, simply select the Binder that you want to open, and above it, you can see and Add Cards/Stickers button.
There, you can simply search the cards that you want to add or use the different filters to find them. Then all you need is to drag the cards to the Binder. Same thing goes with the Stickers.

Each Binder can hold up to 30 pages, and if you need more pages, you can click on the Shop to purchase them for only 200 DEC. Aside from that, you can also purchase another Binder, Stickers and different Binder backgrounds to make the Binder o your dreams.

Closing
And that was it for the Collector Binders. It is certainly a must have feature whenever when we are talking about cards games. It may even encourage players to collect more cards, just so that they can organize them in the way that they want. At the same time, the items that are available in the shop can give additional revenue for the team.
Thank you, and see you on the next post!

That's pretty cool!
Sure, it is! Maybe someday we can also do this with our Holozing creatures 😁.
Haha yeah and hopefully physical cards too!
"As a collector myself, the collector binder is a must-have—it’s a really nice and elegant feature. Good luck with your collection! I was hoping to call
it 'gold,' but I'm still a long way from finishing my project."
