Beta beats Byza

Lol, I know the title will irk Byza but today I was able to defeat Byzantine kitty summoner with the help of Peakrider, the beta legendary summoner.

Ah, you think I own it? How I wish I had bought it but sometimes one gets only what one deserves.

So, now the competition in Splinterlands is tough and if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Also, I find that renting is helping me progress a bit. I cannot keep losing the rating points and ECR just to finish the quest and also slip down in the process.

Over this period of time, I have realized that no player is bad. It is the card that makes the play superior and decides the outcome. Of course, strategy matters. There is no doubting that but the level of the cards also matters and that is why I am pleased in having defeated a BYza card for the first time.

So, you might wonder about leveling up or renting. I will always insist on buying cards of course and chaos cards are now becoming more accessible to the lower league player. So, try to invest in such cards and rent a few to level up and if you are trying for the leaderboard, make sure that you have the most cards and study your opponent's game strategy as well.

Participate in challenges, tournaments, and in discussions so as to improve. Also, try to think about past defeats and change your strategies.

General sale

At first, I was like I am going to buy packs with vouchers but later decided to use the money to buy in the general sale and if it sells out, I can still buy cards and level up and buy a few packs for the SPS payout.

Scramble to buy

There will be push and shove to buy in the general sale and I remember the land being sold out soon. So, if you are intending to buy packs, make sure you get your credits ready first and the vouchers for bonus packs.

Buying a pack may seem costly but then it can sell out and the card prices will shoot up and then no chance of leveling up either. So, it is a very scary situation indeed.
