Card giveaways to players who give good tips
Today is the first of December, 2021. A new season has already started in Splinterlands and all the players including me are awaiting the release of Chaos Legion. I too had wished to be a maverick but the voucher part was unexpected but not to worry, I am hoping to buy cards from the market or packs from the general sale and hope to finally reach the Maverick status.
The splinterlands game has given so much to me. So, I try to do my best to return gifts to new players whenever I can. Today, I thought about doing card giveaways.
I remember getting my first DEC - 250 from Xawi in the Neo discord. I did not know what it was about and asked around and was told it was the game token of Splinterlands. The rest is history.
The Neoxian discord was always full of cards and dec giveaways besides the dragon vote and other such goodies. The mega party when BTC shot up was the most remarkable. We all hope to have such a party again on New Year's eve.

I am intending to giveaway cards to players who provide good tips and by Good, I do not mean the usual Kron- Llama is good and so on. It really has to be good enough to earn you a card. As you all know, the prices of cards have shot up and it is not easy to come by. So, I will have these tips reviewed by a top player and then decide the winner who will get the card for real.

I know that these rewards cards may sound too small a gift but there was a time when even the chicken was cheap and I had given it for free. Even a golden ooze and also sold some golden chickens for a price I do not wish to remember even.
I had thought of doing delegations but then with the release of the Chaos legion, I thought that people would want to try cards from chaos instead. I guess I will wait for the results of this post and if people are serious enough I can consider delegating. Also, I have asked a good player to play my account this season. I am not a top player and so it would be better for me to test it with another player and if the returns are good, I can invest more too.
As for our country, there is news about bans and laws and the like about cryptocurrency. There are panic sells but I am not budging because I believe in crypto. I am sure our Hive accounts are completely safe. So, I have nothing to fear because everything that is earned here is legal and I am sure nobody will have anything to complain about bloggers who earn from writing, photography, playing, etc.
Splinterlands is a wonderfully magical game that has a lot of hard work behind it and the developers are real-life human beings who take the players into consideration when making a decision, unlike some other popular games that do not.

Timing is everything..
A loosing streak does not mean you are a bad player. Yes its a stament there is still room to become a better player..With that said and eyes on the loosing streak, change the time of play and see how you game holds up..
Splinter lands being a card game that calld for strategy remember to take a look at your opponents previous victories and what cards he holds, before laying down your attack in the three minutes that are given of course
In a guild brawl, you can compare your own fray with that of the other guilds. If you are in fray no. 5, look for the opponents that are also in fray no. 5. You can check this by looking at the guld brawl page of the opposing guilds and hovering over the enemies names. This way you can check the last 20 battles, and if you wait until later in the brawl, you can also see which cards they used in completed brawl battles. You can write them in a document and think of good counter cards you could rent. So if you begin to enter your brawl battles you can have the document opened, check the name, check his setups and compare them to the actual rule set to get the best possible counter decision.
For example, you often see opponents in the lower tiers constantly using Alric + Magic Set Up. If you see many of your enemies using this, just rent Owster Rotwell for 1-2 DEC and maybe the Gorlodon for a few DEC and you're good to go, even if green isn't possible in the specific battle. If an opponent is using a double tank heal setup, you can also rent a card like Grim Reaper for a few DEC.
Whenever a new season starts is the best time to get some new cards (rent or buy), and the best way to get a great price buying is to set a bid in peakmonster. @deimargd
