Knight to the rescue

The battle is really a good chance to see how brilliant the Chaos Knight is and ultimately how the monster helped win the game.

Of late, I realized that all the new monsters are exceptional and somehow all the old ones even though good enough, somehow cannot manage to pull it against these new beasts.

That being said, the veterans will have the say in the wild format and I am assuming the dec per win might be more in the wild format because of the fact that both alpha and beta get additional dec per win and what to say of the gold foil cards, then.

Unfortunately, I have to sell a few of my cards because of a need. It is not that I am going to leave all of a sudden. I hope to continue with the modern format and try to see if I can survive without the land phase. I had always known that I would not be able to go far seeing the amount of investment needed but the sudden change in the luck of splinterlands made me more than happy and I am glad I did not quit earlier. I do still hope I can have a good chaos deck.

Back to the battle, I am sure you have understood how important the Chaos Knight is to the battle. Even after all the others fell through before the Blight, this card stood ground and won the battle.

I usually do not use this monster much but then I noticed that the sneak ruleset would allow me to choose the Melee monsters and I ended up choosing the Knight and now I am glad I did. So, why not try it out instead of choosing the same old guys and get a surprise win for yourself.

Today has been an exasperating day for me because it is three times or maybe four that I was near Diamond and have not reached it yet. I hope to reach the usual Diamond 2 this season. As for the few cards I sold, I hope to make it back by testing out new packs instead. I know that opening packs is like gambling but with potions around, you are sure to get good cards, and let me remind you that even the simplest of cards will be soon valuable once the legion sells out and you will be wanting for more.

Tips for new players

• check the market for cool deals
• check out cheap alphas and betas on the market to earn more dec
• make sure you try out every monster you have
• instead of using the same old cheats, try new combos
• test the waters of the tournaments
• be consistent
• manage your time and play accordingly
• make sure you study your opponent's battles
• think twice before you click away
• check your card collection daily
• invite your family and friends to have a go
• gift a splinterlands account to your loved one

I am sure you will thank your stars that you arrived on this scene years later.
