The worried chicken

The alpha chicken was waiting for the email. The chicken that had been sent on the mission had not sent the message that the enemy had been vanquished.

Ever since the splinterlands team had decided to bring on the dragons that were too mighty and powerful, the lower monsters were terrified. They had been trained by the mighty players to defeat the enemies very easily. They were doing it all nice and tidy until the Chaos legion was released. Then, it was like a tsunami of monsters had been released. Even the mighty ruler of the seas was subdued and defeated.

The alpha chicken could not eat or sleep. It paced the floor. Should I notify the team? Should I report to the mods? Should I plead in the Mavs channel? It thought.

The sound of a notification made the Alpha jump. There it was but hey, that was Chatter from the team. With a shaking beak, the alpha opened the tab and there was Chatter's message. The chicken on the mission had been captured by the enemy. It was too weak to fight the fiend. The alpha did not like the news. It ran towards the splinterlands office clucking all the way.

Immediate release! I want the chicken to be released now. The alpha shouted. The chaos dragon smirked.

Does that not look like a smirk to you?
Well, it is what it is. Xawi and Burl shook their heads. Even they couldn't do anything.

Well now. What if I approached Neoxian. He might be able to do something.
The alpha did not want to disturb the dragon banker. So, he left a message asking for help. Shrazi was standing at the door. He was making sure that no one disturbed the dragon's sleep. He said that he would inform Neoxian as soon as the sun rose.

The alpha smiled. He knew what to do. Just as the clock struck six, he made a wake-up crow. Neoxian woke up and after knowing about the situation, he promised the alpha that he would help. Alpha returned to his place with a satisfied smile.

One the way, he met Raymond and Bala along with the other Neoxianers. They were walking towards the Splinter arena where the promised lands were waiting. Lands and SPS were going to rise to the 'moon'. So, they did not want to be late. The other players were also waiting at the gate to push and shove as Aggy said. It might be even worse than those Balck Friday events. Some even wore helmets.

Meanwhile, the dragon banker had called Aggy and Matt and asked them to order the Chaos dragon to release the unfortunate chicken. The chicken returned to its place in a guarded vehicle. There were the neutrals who were guarding it and so it felt safer. They did stop over to eat at a McDonald's but the chicken did not like the idea and it preferred to eat from the Udipi Bhavan which served only vegetarian dishes.

The alpha welcomed the chicken back and the others treated it like a hero returned from war.

Alpha did not fail to thank Neoxian and the splinterlands team and the neutrals. One more eventful day for the splinterlanders but of course the discussions were still going on about it on the discord.
